-Kristy was wearing a fanny pack. Who wears a fanny pack? I was the same age as the girls at the end of the series (which is kind of funny since they were 12 when I was born lol) and I would have died before wearing a fanny pack at that age. I can see Stacey dying if she were seen with Kristy wearing a fanny pack. I actually kinda like that Kristy wears a fanny pack. Kristy is supposed to have a total disregard for fashion and appearance, so I can see her liking the functionality of a fanny pack, and not caring what the others think.

Surprisingly, I rather enjoyed this one, and I'm probably in the minority here because I liked Melissa. The debate thing got a little unrealistically heated, but aside from that I found it a decent read.

When Stacey was acting uncomfortable on the phone when Kristy called her to ask about David/Terry, at first I thought it was because she was like "omfg is this whole ghosts of boyfriends past thing seriously not over yet".

Confession: I actually binged all of FF because I don't have anything better to do XD. Off work for at least a month because my elbow is fractured (my right, and dominant, elbow at that. Oy). So why not enjoy my time off?
I wanted to love this one, but... meh. I'm conflicted. I love that it features Abby a lot, and I like that she admits she wants to spend more time with Kristy. I guess I just couldn't get that invested in debate (feel like I'm the only one). Of all the extra curriculars they've featured in FF, this one is probably the one I was least invested in. And I'm not sure why! It should be exciting. I do like the DC setting, though.
As for David's return... I don't know. I kind of preferred him just being a one off. He's a good character, don't get me wrong, I just really liked the idea of Stacey being the only club member that knew his secret. I thought Mystery Money was a better ending for him. Oh well. He works well with Kristy. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Melissa is very annoying. That's all I'm gonna say.
I wasn't that invested in the kidnapping, either. Idk why.
I really like Abby and Kristy's friendship. I was sort of bummed that they spent most of this trip fighting (I also got sort of tired of the cats v dogs debate, but not so much because of the book. I think I've seen too many debates about it online that got even more heated than this book, with ridiculous arguments, judgements, and accusations. Yes, accusations. It gets very ridiculous. I prefer dogs btw), but it's in character anyway. And they do make up. I think if the debate was about something less silly, their fighting would've been more believable (or maybe it's right on, given how heated people get about this topic). Again, I feel like the only one lol!
The rude scrabble was definitely the best part. And you know that RL 13 yos would come up with far worse words than butt and fart, but they had to keep it G rated.
The last chapter was pretty cool, but is it really that easy to tour the White House? I've never been to DC, so I really don't know.
Man I wanted to love this one! Idk why I couldn't get super into it. I feel like I mostly complained, but I still found it enjoyable. This one gets a 5. I also feel like this isn't really a fitting "last book." It's just kind of random (the others were alright as last books imo, especially Mary Anne's).
