which Claudia outfits do you really like?
I like what she wore at WSTO
The black dress with shiny silver stuff in Stacey's Mistake
The black, white and red outfit with patterns in The Mystery At Claudia's House
The outfit on the cover of Claudia and the Mystery at the Museum, especially the pink leggings

I like the Mystery at the Museum one too. Also the "This might be art" outfit from SM #2
I'm sure I'll think of more later...

I've always liked the Miss Frizzle one ... I think its in Claudia and the Middle School mystery, with an aquarium theme going on - she felt really dumb when she got called into the principal's office wearing that. And I like her outfit on the cover of the Shadow Lake super special. I kind of don't get her outfits though, at first they were just fashionable but by the end they were beyond ridiculous ... a bungee cord? Really?

^ She wore it as a belt ... the book title is on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember it! I'm going to have to skim through all the chapter twos...

^ I know - I thought it was ridiculous - surely there are other ways of customizing outfits. (I am still searching but I will find it, I will, I will, I WILL.

Did Claudia ever use a jump rope as a belt? Cause I used to have this dream of using a glittery plastic jump rope as a belt, but I never had the nerve to actually do it. I don't know why I would have thought that was a good idea unless Claudia suggested it to me. It was a rather tame outfit, but I always liked Claudia on the cover of Claudia and the Genius of Elm Street. She wore a solid blue skirt, a red striped button up shirt over a white t-shirt, and white tennis shoes. She doesn't look like an American flag or anything, just cute and normal looking.

There are a lot of outfit descriptions in Middle School Dropout, which is one of the reasons I loved this book I like the black overall shorts over tie-dyed leggings, rust-colored cardigan paired with moss green Gap jeans, and her punk Halloween outfit which included a leather jacket, miniskirt, and black Doc Martens.

^I remember reading that and thinking "Claudia shops at Gap? What a let-down." That store is so normal, you know?

I thought her short red turtleneck dress in Christmas Chiller sounded nice...not sure about it paired with purple tights though!

^ She wore purple and red a lot, didn't she? I always found that strange. I had a sewing teacher who hated the two colours together and we weren't allowed to use them. I think I picked up that poet peeve...

I liked the Ms. Frizzle one, too, and her "watermelon" outfit. I also liked the tights with clocks that she wore in #2. I wish I could find clock tights somewhere.
