I just saw this video for the first time (it didn't seem at all familiar as I watched it, so I don't think I had ever seen it when I was a kid). So funny!
In the beginning, the BSC has a surplus in their treasury and don't know what to do with it. Jessi wants a pizza party, but everyone votes against her and is very insincerely "SORRY JESSI!"
Then the next scene shows the trio of Brunettes, and two of them decide their group is going as hippies for a costume party, outvoting the other brunette. And they're very insincerely like "SORRY!"
So the BSC is cliqueish like the Brunettes...but we're supposed to love the BSC for it and hate the Brunettes for the same. lol.
BTW, what does the BSC spend their money on if they're not going to have a pizza party? New stuff for their effing Kid Kits! WTF?
Logan does not have a southern accent at all. And I think one of the characters even says something along the lines of "I love his cute accent!"

I thought Marcy the Brunette looked much older than she was and was hitting on Logan like an old creeper

This was the one that started it all. Apparently a typical week in the BSC was:
Claudia baby-sat for Jenny P and Jenny finger painted all over the walls.
Mary Anne sat for Jamie. He slept with his bicycle in his bed with him, so she read them both a story, kissed them and put him down for a nap.
Dawn sat for the Rodowskys. The four of them got locked in the bathroom when the doorknob came off.
Stacey sat for Karen and Andrew. They made a cake and the kids ate all the frosting before any got on the cake.
Jessi taught random little girls some ballet moves.
Mallory and Christopher (who?) went to the park with a wagon overflowing with library books.
Kristy bottle fed a pig. Huh?
It has been said many times, but Logan was a sickly looking little dork in this one. He made Mary Anne look chubby.
Basically this one was all about evil Marci trying to steal Logan away from Mary Anne, but Mary Anne was so wussy that she didn’t really care. Not the most interesting story to start the TV series.

What always bothered me is how Mary Anne is short in the book, but in the TV show she is one of the tallest girls.

Wow! I so dont remember this one! Why couldn't they have used Cokie instead of Maci?

Yeah there were a lot of inconsistencies with the TV show. Like using Maci instead of Cokie. And also when Dawn mentions that she is close with Charlotte, that should have been Stacey saying it instead.

I just watched these and thought MA looked like a giant!
Another funny thing about these shows were the intro, the girls were all laughing like everything everyone said was funny.

I remember in the one video, Claudia disses Dawn by saying something like, "Look at this Stacey. YOU have great taste" (implying that Dawn doesn't).

I need to watch this one again! I think it's my favorite of the video series.
When my niece was younger, she used to demand to watch this every time I sat for her. Then she would want to act out scenes from it...she made me be Logan. ;D

I really enjoyed this episode! I wish they could have produced more episodes though.

I watched this on YouTube today because I was painting my nails and didn't want to mess them up by putting the tape in the VCR. The sound quality was really bad, so even though I've seen this episode a bunch of times, when Kristy told Logan there was a sale on baseball mitts, at first I thought she said there was a sale on fake vomit. And I wondered why fake vomit would be in the sports section.

I have this on tape (bought it at Salvation Army because I am that obsessed LOL) but I am scared to watch it because sometimes my VCR eats tapes...

Just watched on Netflix. Mary Anne was such a doormat. Saying Marcy had a right to ask Logan out? Cue Mary Anne 15 years down the road married with kids to Logan saying Marcy has a right to sleep with Logan.

I love how young the sitters all look in this episode! Especially Kristy. It's surprising how much it seems like they aged between the start of the season and the end of the season.
Marcy was great; I would have enjoyed seeing her in more episodes. And I think the Bruno's Brunettes thing was pretty clever!
