i think claudia would adopt, because of how happy she was teaching emily. i think the feeling of helping someone in need appeals to her.

^But it's Claudia. She could have a house full of biological kids in need if they inherited her intelligence.

I voted for Mallory because I think she would want a big family and would eventually adopt.

I voted for Claudia because of Emily but also for the reason that even after ger own "Great Search," she probably (at times) still felt she didn't belong in her own family. Maybe as she got older she would want to make sure that at least one child without a family of their own, had one, to truly belong to.
Mal, I would be surprised if she didn't have a brood of kids. Did she ever really sit for Emily? I know Jessi did but did Mal? I wish she would adopt but am not sure that would be a consideration for her just because of how many biological siblings she grew up with.
You know, I could * almost * see Stacey adoptin, assuming she had one biological child, to make certain that kid had a brother or sister. I don't think she'd want just one.

I voted for Kristy and Stacey. Kristy because a lot of people think that a biological child and his or her parents will have a bond to which the one between adoptive parents and their child can never compare, and I think her family and experiences would make her the most likely to reject that mindset.
Stacey's parents' fertility issues combined with her diabetes would make her the most likely candidate for trouble conceiving, IMO. Plus diabetes can result in pregnancy complications or birth defects so I can see Stacey accepting adoption as an alternative more readily.
Now that I think about it, Mary Anne is the only sitter I can't imagine adopting a child. With the custody drama, the death of her mother, and her buying-Kleenex-in-bulk sentimentality, I feel like she'd want to be a Real Mommy, blood and all.

I’ve been reading through old threads and answering questions that I’ve voted in the polls for and haven’t done it here yet.
I see Stacey, I’ve seen that in some cases infertility can be genetic and her parents did have troubles. There also have been cases of diabetes making it difficult to carry. I can see her having one child naturally before deciding that she’d rather adopt,
Then Kristy, she seems like the type that would rather adopt then even consider getting pregnant.

I can see Stacey being trendy and adopting an African baby. Didn't her mom have fertility issues or am I imagining that? I thought there was a reason Stacey was an only child. She could have the same issues as her mother. Stacey would not adopt a child simply because it's a "trend"...that's so silly. And as a mature adult, Stacey would not be still as "trendy" as she was at thirteen. And no, infertility is not "inherited" either and also yes, people with diabetes can habe healthy pregnancies. I get tired of the plot cliches in the fanfictions that assume that Stacey can't get pregnant because of diabetes. That said, I can see any one of the BSC adopting children, including those from other countries. I can completely see Kristy having a huge family with several of her kids adopted.

I've seen those sites...and yes, it is true that if diabetes is poorly controlled, it can interfere with a healthy pregnancy. But I also can see Stacey adopting as well as having children by birth. One common thing I do see and I've read is that mums with diabetes tend to give birth to larger-than-average weight babies, so I do see any kids that Stacey gives birth to being a large weight baby.
