Baby-sitters' Haunted House is not only my favorite Super Mystery, it's my favorite BSC book.

Haunted House by far. I even enjoyed the "BSC on Wheels" Subplot in SM#1. I didn't really like SM's 2 or 3. SM #4, while better than the previous 2, was too much--too many stories going on at once. I do admit to liking (albeit very unrealistic how long it took to idenitfy her) the Mary Doe storyline. I've said this before but lol the convo when Mrs. Pike announces to her family she has some important news and Mal immediately assumes her mother is pregnant, I still wish she were. Not that 8 isn't enough because it is, just that, there was some build up. Also, I just thought of, we never did read about any of the Sitters' mother's being pregnant or even adopting. Emily's magical appearance doesn't count!

Fright Night because I love the fact that the book took place in Salem around Halloween.

I actually liked all the Super mysteries, but my favorite was Fright night because I loved that it took place during Halloween, in Salem. It also had a lot of history around it and I thought the mystery was really good as well.

As much as I love all 4 book equally the same, Beware is my favorite and Fright Night comes next to it. I love both stories from both books a lot. What I love the most is Shannon's chapters from the Super Mystery books, I forgot which ones it is though.

Baby-sitters Beware and Baby-sitters Fright Night both have Shannon chapters. Baby-sitters Haunted House and Baby-sitters Christmas Chiller don't have any Shannon chapters.

I can't decide between Haunted House and Beware... I always thought Beware was more terrifying as a kid.

The cover of Beware always scares the heck out of me, even now as a 25 years old BSC fan I'm still scare of the cover. It's the shadow of the man that scares me a lot, but Andrew is pretty cute on the cover though.

^ I used to like that cover too, although the childhood me was pissed that Mary Anne wasn't on the cover (even though she wasn't in that scene). I guess I used to get offended by Mary Anne absences. I always thought Kristy and Stacey looked sooo adult on the cover. I loved Stacey's Nordic sweater, which are actually very popular and back in fashion now for winter.
