I can't actually remember the plots or fright night or babysitters beware. I did love Haunted House though, even if Karen really annoyed me in this one. She was interfering even more than usual "Kristy doesn't mean it.. when I get there she will be ok with it"... No Karen butt out - this isn't your problem...
As for Christmas Chiller, I can't read it - I get to the half way stage and just skip to the end, it is just so dull.
Psychoseal, in Fright Night, some of the members go to Salem for Halloween. While there, the Witch's Eye is stolen. Also, Alan plays a lot pranks on Kristy and a girl, Ellen, was picked on by Cokie and Alan (mostly Cokie) since her (Ellen's) ancestor was thought to be a witch.
In Babysitters Beware, the girls were stalked by Woody Tate and he creeped them out, such as causing arson at Claudia's. He followed Claudia, Stacey, Abby, Kristy and her family to Shadow Lake. Also, Mary Anne and Logan get letters in each other's handwritings despite the fact that they didn't write the letters to each other. (In Abby and the Secret Society, it's revealed that it was Cary that sent the notes to Mary Anne and Logan.)

I think Baby-sitters Beware is my favourite, but I only read SM#1 once a long time ago, so I should reread it before making a final decision. I find SM#2 actually really creepy. It's more like a Fear Street book or something than a BSC book.
