Say the BSC was a real business that had to downsize because of the slow economy. Which full-time member would you get rid of first and why?

I’d fire Mary Anne because she was unstable and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I'd get rid of Dawn for her tendencies to "lose" kids due to not supervising them and because you know one day, she'd have a showdown with a Charge over something they were eating or believed in. Plus, she snoops. (Dawn's book).

Dawn, for the reasons that zoar stated.

Dawn. I agreed with Zoar & Anzuhana

I would also throw Jessi's name in for consideration because her age limits her ability to take jobs and her dance classes cause tardiness and scheduling conflicts.

i would get rid of dawn. if i were a parent i wouldn't let her anywhere near my kids, because she was awfully pushy and she would probably be a bad influence. some of her ideas were pretty good (like teaching the kids ecology) but nobody has the right to push any agenda onto naive little kids.

^It was how she went about "teaching" ecology that would have made me truly want to tell her off. She was so prentitious. I'm also noticing that with the Barrett books, Dawn will be taking care of Marnie after (M) has woken up from a nap and send Buddy and Suzi either to the rec room or outside--somewhere where she (D) isn't.

Yeah, I wouldn't want a sitter being so pushy with her beliefs, like about food and guns.

^I actually agree with her on the guns. However, she had no right to upon meeting Buddy for the very first time, jump down his throat about them. I always felt with Dawn, it wasn't even about the cause, but rather the position of power it temporarily gave her. If she truly cared about animals, she would neither eat (any of) or wear them. If she truly cared about her friends and people she interacted with AND animals she would have simply lived a compassionate (crueltry free) lifestyle, which would have actually meant something (possibly inspired others to become more educated/adopt some of her beliefs). Instead she, sort of like Mary Anne could be, was passive aggressive and willy nilly.

It's not really a matter of what I would agree with her about--I am not exactly pro-gun either--but I wouldn't want a sitter forcing their ideals on my child, period.

I would probably fire Dawn as well, for her pushiness, but also her incisiveness about where she wanted to live. I wouldn't want to hire somebody only to have them keep changing their mind where they wanted to live.

I love how none of us has chosen the only member to actually be fired... Lol.
I chose Dawn because she wasn't very reliable.

Whoa, I can't believe how much Dawn is leading by! I'm going to pick Claudia because she's already so busy, stretching herself thin. This way she'll have more time to focus on school and her art.
