I think Claudia and the Sad Good-bye had a different title. I think it was something like Claudia and the Death of Mimi.

Stacey and the New Kids is now Stacey and the Mystery of Stoneybrook.

Logan Likes Mary Anne was Mary Anne Goes Steady. That sounds like a book out of the 50s. It would probably be banned for being too racy.

Out of curiosity, where did everyone hear about these alternate titles?!

Virgoscorpio, you can go to the BSC companion and find out such information and these titles were at the back of some books.

Thanks -- yeah I checked it out. It only explained some though (like #35). Just curious about them all, bwaha!

^Aw, it is. It also "fits" with Ann's 50's/60's references.

Does anyone have pictures of the ads with these titles? My copy of super special three has the book 33 and 35 mix up but I have not seen the others!

#35 was Stacey and the New Kids on the Block. People (me) thought (hoped) it was about the band. 🤩

I didn't see any other titles though being advertised. Was there really a title called Mary Anne Goes Steady?

I think Claudia and the Sad Good-bye had a different title. I think it was something like Claudia and the Death of Mimi. I like the original title better...a title like the latter is too much of a spoiler. Claudia and the Sad Good-Bye is more sophisticated and causes a browser to wonder just who Claudia must say a sad goodbye to. The browser would then want to read to find out.

I saw that the original title for book 26 was just Claudia and Mimi. Honestly, I kind of like that better.
Still want to see a picture of Mary Anne goes Steady, but I guess I'm just weird like that lol.
