aww, i love logan. haha.
i think dawn would be the least succesful because i don't like her, because she is wishy washy and can't commit to anything, and because she will probably start doing a lot of drugs.

^ That reminds me. I don't remember who exactly said this but when asked what he thought would happen to the BSC members, this guy said Dawn would go crazy with drugs before opening her own jewelry store.

I agree about Dawn. She expends the majority of her energy trying to blaspheme people who don't subscribe 100% to her views (views that are quite contradictory and also ones that Dawn probably doesn't even quite get fully) as a show of trying to be in control. Unless she changes her ways, eventually that negativity in going to bring her way down. The same could be said about Abby in terms of her avoidance issues with her past/feelings.

CA Dawn isn't really like that.
I think it's hard to predict someone's future at 13. At thirteen I was goth and failing out of school.

I voted for MA because I think she has a lot of issues that we don't necessarily get to see her deal with, and if she doesn't, she will be miserable forever.

I don't know about life but I think Logan will be unlucky in love. Probably marry twice and just stay single or get married a third time.

Easy to say that Kristy, Stacey, and Jessi will probably have very successful careers as adults (barring any unforseen circumstances down the road).
MUCH harder to say among the others, which will be the 'least successful.' I definitely see Claudia dropping out of high school to work but she might end up doing pretty well in a career that doesn't require formal education; I could see her owning either an art studio and teaching art classes or a hair and make-up salon (and having someone more math savvy taking care of the bookkeeping).
I can see Dawn and Mallory both floundering somewhat post-college, probably more so than Mary Anne.

I voted for Dawn. Eventually, everybody will get tired of placating her vegetarianism and environmentalism and will kick her ass to the curb.
My runners-up in the least successful department is Jessi and Logan. Jessi, because I hate her and I want her to suffer from the same bad luck bug as Mallory and Logan because he will be a total manwhore in high school and college and he will be forced to spend his college savings on child support.

Unfortunately probably Claudia or Mallory. I'm not sure how talented they really are in their hobbies but I think their tastes and products would be not very popular (and they would be unwilling to change or compromise to try to be more popular/commercial). They might be able to do better at other things than art and children's book writing but I'm not sure if they would realize that.

Especially when it comes to the publishing industry as far as Mal is concerned, since it’s so focused on trends as of lately.

I see Logan because he gets himself into a huge scandal in university along with a homecoming crowd there. Although Logan makes decent money maybe as a sports announcer, he has a dysfunctional marriage to his then-wife and they go through a long, bitter divorce. Their kids are sort of a mess also...their daughter is a pot-smoking, boy-crazy, sexually promiscuous mess and their son smokes and later drinks. Their kids also smart-mouth both of their parents also. Both Logan and Melanie move on, marry other spouses, though.

I think I've asked this in other threads, but how are we defining success? Purely money? Someone like Mallory might not make as much but lead a happy, fulfilling life without the stress of a higher profile job.
