We've talked about scenes we would love to have seen occur in a BSC book both one that was written (how it could have been different) or something totally new. What about conversations that were mentioned in passing but never decribed? I am re-reading the Series and a few such interactions I wished we had gotten to listen in on were: Edies's talks with David Michael, Sam, and Charlie (KGI) Watson's talk with Mrs. Porter (KGI) the Kishi's "agreement" with Claudia over homework (KGI) This Was never mentioned as occurring so it doesn't really fit here but I wish we had found out if the McGills ever contacted Dr. J in #3 after they came home from New York. Richard and Sharon's first date in #4 The BSC's conversation following Buddy's "kidnapping" in #5 (the day before Dawn "talks" with Mrs. Barrett. Later down the road: I've always wanted to "hear" Aunt C tell the Ramseys off in SS#4 both when they were still at the hotel and later when they came home. #20 ( Kristy and the Walking Disaster), contained a lot of sweet sounding Kristy/Watson dialog that we never got to read. I did also wonder what transpired when Watson drove Bart home in the infamous Kristy and Bart=? What else? And would anyone be interested in creating these scenes? We could move it to the fanfic area. This could sort of be like when someone asked the "what if" "X" happened during a baby-sitting job, which Sitter would respond best. I don't think any "fan pieces" were done then but same idea here.

LOL, now that you mention it... If I were Bart I would have just walked home, no matter how cold it was!

I would've paid money to read that scene because it would have been so cringe worthy.

In Winter Vacation and Island Adventure, Jessi, Claudia, and Dawn all have "realizations" about themselves and say they're going to talk to their parents about it or hold family meetings when they're at home, and I kind of wanted to read that.

Bart should have flown home before Watson had a chance to even say he would drive him!
Good point, BooBoo, those would have been interesting to read as would Mary Anne talking with Edie about Alma.

Mrs. Papadakis's talk with Shannon about the false fire alarm she pulled on Kristy while she was sitting in #11.

I don't think it was mentioned in any way, shape or form in Dawn and Whitney, Friends Forever but I would’ve liked it if Whitney's parents talked to her about her kidnapping Clover and Daffodil.

I wonder what if anything Amanda and Max told their mom about Shannon and Kristy's "fight" over the pizza. Anzuhana, that certainly should have happened.

^ I know. Considering that Whitney would've been mainstreamed, her parents should've talked to her.

Lol, probably not. Unless, of course, that book had not ended Kristy and Bart.

I guess this topic isn't too old to bump back, hmm? I would have liked to hear more of Dawn and Kristy's talk in #5. Page 77: "We began to talk. We talked about divorces. ("They should be against the law," said Kristy. I agreed.) We talked about moving. ("Across town is nothing compared to across country," I pointed out. Kristy agreed.)...." and so on. In some ways, I like how it was written. Really to the point, you know? But seriously, they covered some big stuff. It would have been interesting to hear word for word. I also think in #10 the whole bra-thing with MA would have been....interesting to read about. She says she goes to her dad (whom she can barely talk to, in some books). I think it would have been totally awkward and sweet. The whole deal was mentioned a lot in this book, it seems, but MA never talks about it with the reader, if that makes sense.

^That was one instance where I liked Dawn. I agree that the conversation flowed really well, naturally. I could picture the two of them up in the hayloft just talking and thinking. You know what I just thought of? No one (I don't think) had a treehouse in Stoneybrook (did they)? I could see their convo also happening in one.
#10, I don't think we ever saw Mary Anne and Richard hang out and really talk except for #4, this one, and when she gets her makeover. I also always wished Dawn and Sharon had not interrupted the convo about MA/Logan in Mary Anne vs Logan. I think that might have allowed us a better glimpse of the "real" Richard (or the one I hope is inside, anyway. I just am a fan of his because I, also, grew up with my Dad).

When Buddy, Suzie and Marnie's dad was spoken to about not taking the kids away like that again in Dawn and the Impossible Three or it could be considered kidnapping
The conversation they had with Mr. Morton in Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall
What Laine and King were talking about on the phone after she told Stacey she needs privacy and all Stacey heard was childish. She naively thought Laine was talking about her liking Stoneybrook, it sounded to me like she was whining and complaining!

I would have liked to hear if Maureen and Mrs. Cummings ever talked about what happened between Laine and Stacey. They sort of argued that night about putting Laine on the train back to NYC, and Stacey asked her mom if she and Mrs. Cummings were angry with each other. Maureen replied that she expected they'd patch things up. I wonder if they did.
