... Someone on the forum actually had a copy of your own, personal BSC books as a kid. Either you wrote your name on the cover or you filled in the scrapbook at the back.
I got this idea when I was reading the entry where people talked about what others had written in the scrapbooks.

I've never given up one single BSC book I ever owned. I still have all my childhood copies. I refuse to part with them!

Lucky! I was raised by my Grandparents, and when I was in Grade 9 (around there) my Nana GAVE AWAY my entire BSC collection to a girl who was a daughter of a family friend.
I was so pissed because I had (almost) the entire collection -- except for a few books.

I still have my first Kristy's Great Idea from like '87, or '88. The pages are yellow, but it is dear to me. Also, I have the first 30 or so, from when I read the series into middle school.

i never sell my books, even when i have extras. i keep them and reread them until they fall apart. so if anybody has one of my old books, it's because they went through my trash, and that's creepy :]

I still have my first original book that my mother bought for me in 1988 when I was 9 years old (KGI, of course ). I also have all my other original ones too, I never got rid of any of them. The first 5 or so books have my name scribbled on the inside front cover in purple ink, because I was lending them to my friend and I didn't want her to forget to give them back to me! lol

I still have my childhood copies. I don't often part with books. But I read a lot of library BSC books as a kid... knowing me, I probably left little marks behind. It would be pretty awesome to discover someone here had gotten library copies I had enjoyed as a kid.

This thread makes me think of the Where's George website where you can track where your dollar bills have been. I don't picture BSC books having too many owners though. Two or three people, max.

I think I have my originals, but I have bought a ton on eBay... Australian eBay though, and I'm one of the few Aussies here.

My old BSC books, I don't think, I wrote my name in there. Unless, I did the survey's in the back of the book. I was wonder, who got my old books. Now, that I'm recollecting them again. I saw some name on the book or inside the book.
I'm re-reading Stacey and the Cheerleaders. Theirs a girl name Emilee on the front cover. In light blue ink pen.
So, if your name is Emilee, your on here or maybe someday you join this forum in the future. I have your book.

I did't write my name in books either because there was no reason to. I wasn't allowed to lend out my belongings and I'm too possessive of things to give them out even if I could have. I have bought books of people I knew though.
