This is in Stacey and the Cheerleaders, but this sounds really pretty:
pair of new jeans with a brand-new white cotton cardigan with gorgeous floral embroidery and a scalloped, crocheted neckline; flat-bottomed suede ankle boots

I also loved Stacey's outfit and hair on the cover of Stacey's Choice.

This sounded cute from book 65:
short, rayon challis tank dress my mom had ordered for me. It was navy with white polka dots. The fitted top tapered down to a flared skirt, with white buttons down the front

I really loved Stacey's outfit on the cover of Stacey's Broken Heart... I've always been a huge fan of long, loose skirts and boots.

Me too. Feminine, comfortable.

Lady Diana often wore those sorts of long, comfortable skirts and boots.

My all to favorite Stacey outfits are the plaid pants and red sweater she wore on the original cover of Kristy's Great Idea. I also loved the pink sweater she wore the cover of Goodbye Stacey, Goodbye.

The cover of Stacey's Secret Friend, she looks really cute. I know it's probably a standard outfit at the time but she looks good in strips.

Stacey looked so funny on the cover of Stacey's Secret Friend...her face was priceless!
Poor Tess was embarrassed by other kids laughing at her and Stacey looked a tad embarrassed also and a bit sheepish.
I think Stacey was afraid to tell Tess that the other kids were laughing at Tess.
I liked Stacey's outfit on that cover, though, especially the top.

Her style becomes very preppy in the later books for some reason, and I'm not a fan of that style. Claudia's was definitely more interesting. I do like the one on the cover of #99 though, and I like her "all-black" outfits. I also like the sweatshirt and sweat skirt outfit with the 10s all over it, too, mostly because Kristy describes it as "sort of young," which is funny to me.

I would be so lint-y and full of cat hair trying to pull off an "all-black" outfit. Maybe that is why the McGills didn't have pets, lol.
