I liked Mal too. A Mal centric episode would've been great! It could have revolved around horses or meeting Ben Hobart. Did Ben ever make an appearance in the series?

Too bad. I would’ve liked to have seen Mallory meeting Ben at the library.

Nope, Ben wasn't featured in the TV Series.

No big loss. Logan was a dog, so I can imagine what Ben would look like.

^ LOL! I kind of picture him looking like a boy version of the Mallory in the TV series.

After seeing a picture of Ben and Mallory in Here Come the Bridesmaids I'm convinced they'd cast Ben as a hipster, maybe with emo hair.

^ Ben *would* make a good hipster. I can see it. Maybe in late high-school or college.

Jumping in late, but yes, in all episodes Dawn has the most Northern accent of all the characters. Was it so hard to find a blonde teenager with better acting chops who had a nondescript accent? Just saying. And now the theme song is stuck in my head. Great.

^"Come aww-n" and "chawwcolate sawwce!" Hehe
Yeah, I like TV Mal. And her curls in this ep have way more definition than a certain sophisticate's. Stacey's hair at the sleepover? Wow.
I don't know why they didn't just use familiar characters for this plot. Mrs. Porter instead of Mrs. Slade and the Newtons instead of the Goloffs. I assumed Willie and Annie Goloff were supposed to be like Jamie and Lucy Newton. The little actor looked and sounded so much like this boy I know, they could be twins with different hair.

First time seeing this. Watch this, while it's thundering outside. I saw lightening flashes through the closed curtain window. Boo!!!
This isn't bad.
I like the girls, were like we have save Claudia she's in danger. People do have wild imaginations.

Re: Ben not in the series, Mallory danced with a random redhead boy in the final scene of Dawn and the Dream Boy; maybe that was supposed to be him. I wish Mallory had gotten an episode of her own, too. Maybe they could have featured her epic fight with Ben over the library's card catalog.

In case anyone cares...Mrs. Kishi in this episode was played by Freda Foh Shen, who voiced Mulan's mother in the Disney movie Mulan (I care because I love that movie ). (She was also in an independent film called Red Doors. I loved it, I recommend it.)
