^That's sad! It is as though the children are being punished for their parents divorce. I am glad they settled on the one month each agreement, and it seemed as though they got better in terms of letting their children stay in one place. I have read in a few of Karen's books that they were staying in one house for two months in a row because of something or another. That was good! They live in the same town, it should be flexible like that.
I always found it cute and funny that Karen called Kristy at the big house when she was at the little house, just to tell her something like, "Kristy, Ricky went home sick today! He had a fever and everything!"

Didn't she *try* to get both families together in Karen's Birthday?

^ Which "she"? Karen is really the only one who tried. The others wouldn't do it.

^ Yes, Karen did try but the parents and adults didn't want to do it. They were so awful in that one with the communication - forgetting to pick her up at school, etc. At least in the end, the agreed to try a bit harder.

I can agree, that it the two-two thing made Karen look to the bright side of the divorce.

Yeah, I agree. This book does sound more annoying.

The custody agreement bothers me a bit since Watson and Lisa seemed so determined to follow it and not bend the rules at times. I don't think that they should have been so rigid about it. I'm glad that as the series went on, they became less rigid about the custody agreement.

^ i agree. their strictness was really bizarre and out of character. karen always annoys me but i really felt for her in mr. mom when she couldn't see watson. my mom had surgery earlier this week and i felt guilty leaving, even if i was just getting something to eat. lisa should have been more sympathetic, and i bet mushy watson would have loved to see karen and andrew.
