Now let's move on to my second favorite book of the series, The Baby-Sitters Club book number 10 "Logan Likes Mary Anne!".
Discuss anything about it that you like/dislike, favorite/least favorite scene(s) or moment(s), etc!

This will always hold a place in my BSC heart simply because it marked the first (true) year of 8th grade for the older girls. As others have said, I, too, enjoyed the back to school feel of this book and that unlike other "Septembers," the storyline felt more real and live. Early Logan, to me, still is an ideal boyfriend. What I didn't like was Tigger. You guys know what I think of cats. I admit that colors my feelings toward MA getting a kitten. I think if Mary Anne had shown any interest in cats beforehand, I still would have preferred she had gotten a dog, but it would have made more sense. I've had the random daydream a few times that MA and Logan went into the shelter to get a kitten but were overtaken by the cute dogs, changing their mind. I also did not like how Mary Anne ran out of her own party. By then, she was having fun and seemed to be okay with everyone there. I get how all of a sudden being sung happy birthday would be a shock and maybe throw her off, but all these years later I still feel how she left made more of a "scene" (for her) than if she had stayed.

Shannon, there might be more discussion if you just posted in the regular book thread. This sub-board is stuck at the bottom of the page in no man's land. You could post your thoughts on the books there to get the ball rolling again. (Especially since you haven't even posted anything in your threads for #8 and #9!)

Oh, OK I'll do that in the near future, Sparklymouse! But aren't there already a thread for all of the books? I didn't want to mixed them altogether for not confusing people.

It's the "book club" where a different book was meant to be discussed each week.
