Well is official midnight here where I live(in Montreal-Eastern Time), which makes it the first day of August. Which means that The Baby-Sitters Club is official 25 years old and was created back in 1986 on this special day.

Aw, Happy Birthday, BSC! I hope in 25 more years, all of us (on these boards) will still be healthy and happily talking about our favorite club. Maybe, with some "luck," there will be at least 1 new book by then, too. Pizza toast to everyone on here for keeping the series alive and making the books a whole lot of fun to still talk about.

Happy Birthday, BSC! It's been about 21 years now since I began reading the books - glad that they've been a part of my life for so long.

I can't believe the BSC is 25. I feel old (and I wasn't even born until 1986). My first introduction to the world of BSC was a little sister book - Karen's pizza party.

I would have loved to have been around when the BSC was first issued. It was never as popular in Britain, the main series stopped being released after Stacey the maths whizz I used to think that was when it ended completely was so happy when I found out there were more

^I wish I had been younger when the BSC first came out so I'd have had the books (in better shape) and admittedly been able to join at least a few of the fan clubs. (Orders at the backs of some of the books).

Oh my heck....the BSC is 25. That REALLY makes me old, because I can remember things that happened in that year!

I was born on the same year that The Baby-Sitters Club was created. I'm only three months older though.
