My 2 favorite episode in the BSC T.V. show was Kristy and the Great Campan. Well sense my favorite charter is Kristy I loved it. I want you to tell me what you like most about that episode!  Attachments:

For some reason, parts of this episode have stuck with me all these years. I could still very clearly recall the "Count on Court" slogan, and how all the sitters marched up to Courtney's house as they chanted it. (Even as a kid, that part seemed really dorky to me.)
Even back then, I wondered why they created the character of Courtney for this episode, because it seems like they could have just used Charlotte instead. They were both 3rd grade white girls with long dark hair; both were really shy. Courtney felt like a second Charlotte.

In this beginning they were playing the worst game of dodgeball with the Rodowskys. Everyone was two feet away from each other. When Jackie got hit in the head, he went into a deep trance over new girl Courtney. It quickly went to the theme song with the girls walking happy-go-lucky in the cold. Various hats, scarves, and mittens were worn, but not a single coat was zipped up. Claudia had a tote bag big enough to stuff Mallory into.
This was a weak episode. It focused on a character who wasn’t in the books. Everyone was over the top about a third-grade election. (They would do what, btw?)
Haha, I have sat on the floor of a video rental place arguing over what to rent. A third grader posted his political poster in the video store.
Jeremy and Justin looked double douchey with their matching popped collars. Justin had a John Cusick vibe going on.
This was the second episode where they pushed a young, shy girl to be in the spotlight.
Someone flung the class snake across the gym, and it hit Jeremy right in the head. This was the second head-smacking use of humor in this episode.

The happy mouse day to you sticks in my head and count on Court. And when I think of icecream sundaes I think of this episode. They really go overboard with the third grade election. Courtney is definitely like a Charlotte character. |
