This thread was inspired by a previous post I made. I'm wondering: physically, as a kid, which BSC client did you look the most like?
As I mentioned, I looked the most like Jake Kuhn. I actually looked very similar to how Jake looks on the cover of Mary Anne Breaks the Rules, at one stage of my childhood. I was blonde, and I even had that same haircut and I was a bigger kid at one point.

Hmm I don't know. I was blonde and had glasses (still do!) so maybe Karen? But I had a pageboy as well, so hmm.

Hmm...I probably looked like Charlotte. Brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin.

I don't know who it's supposed to be (Karen, maybe?) but I was a little startled when I got #24 Kristy and the Mother's Day Surprise a while ago, because the blonde girl on the cover on the left looks VERY much like I did when I was little. (PS - A lot of times when I look up cover images on Google Images, the cover of the British version will show up too. They never cease to make me think "Someone thought this would make an appealing cover to sell books?" Here's this one.)

i honestly don't know. i have been googling a bunch of the covers and none of them really looked like me. a lot of people mistake me for hispanic, so maybe amalia martinez? that isn't quite right, but stoneybrook is not really diverse enough.

^ I was actually thinking recently about how there was a lack of Hispanic kids in the series.

Since there's a lack of diversity (as mentioned), the only black girl I can think of is Becca Ramsey, so her, I guess.

I have red hair and brown eyes and I wore glasses when I was a kid. I was also really small for my age. (I still am, technically -- most adult women are taller than five feet!) I think the only female BSC client with red hair is Rosie Wilder, who also wears glasses (and has hazel eyes, which is kind of nice because almost all redheads in books have blue or green eyes) but I look absolutely nothing like the picture of her that we see on the cover of Claudia and the Genius of Elm Street. That girl looks awfully, um, sturdy. I wonder if Ann and Hodges had a hate on for redheaded girls since they made them all "sturdy."
I also just reread the whole Bad News Ballet series by Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hilgartner, who were BSC ghostwriters, and the glasses-wearing, piano-playing redheaded girl in that series is also The Fat One.

It would be Nicholas Pike, well not an exact match but a close one.

I had long brown hair, so I guess Charlotte Johanssen except for the eyes (I have blue eyes).

Charlotte. Maybe Vanessa Pike when I wore my reading glasses.

I found a horrible picture of little me looking like a disheveled hillbilly and it was kind of how I pictured the Barrett kids to look like. I didn't look like Suzi, though. Maybe Marnie as she got older.

I don't think, I look like any of the clients. I have short/medium brown hair.

I'm Indian and have black hair and olive skin, so... no one, really.
