As the title says, What is your favourite BSC image of all time? This could be from a book cover, calendar, board game, Super Special illustration, whatever! Maybe you could explain why you like it so much. Does it have any significance or impact on your childhood? Do you like a certain outfit or the way a sitter looks?
For me, I think the best image is from The Complete Guide to the BSC. I think every girl looks really good on the cover; how I imagined them plus reflecting their own personal style. My only criticism is that Dawn's hair is still too darn short and that Mary Anne has nose hairs, but I understand that Hodges has a problem drawing noses sometimes (a la Mary Anne and the Little Princess).
Edited to add: I just peeked at the cover and I have more things to add. Stacey looks like a giant. Imagine her standing up compared to the girls in the back. Ditto to Mary Anne.
But still, I like the image.

My personal favorite would be the original cover of The Baby-Sitters Club "Mary Anne Saves The Day" and the newest one too. I just love the old one better because that's the book that got me hooked up on The Baby-Sitters Club.

I've always loved the picture on the Mystery Game board game. The scene is fun and they all look great (Mal's hair looks shiny and manageable btw, what's she complaining about? ) I think I like it so much because of the fond memories attached...I must have got the game for Christmas, so I associate it with holidays, childhood, etc.

The cover of the original KGI because that was the book that started it all and for that reason will always hold a little extra place in my heart. David Michael, Kristy, and Louie in the Thomas' backyard that's shown I believe in Kristy's Book. Sadly, I think that is Louie's only picture so it's extra endearing to me. Of course, finally, there's Mimi on the cover of "Sad Good-bye." How I still wish she (and Louie) had lived and been healthy.

The cover of Aloha, BSC is one of my favorites. I thought that the cover looked cute. I also thought that Dawn looked really pretty on page 86 and I liked the picture of Kristy and Mallory on page 96 with the t-shirts of the BSC telephone number. I thought that Mallory looked really nice (as well as Kristy), Also, I like the cover of Fright Night. It looks like a creepy scene with Stacey and Mallory holding the candles and Mary Anne and Abby standing behind them while Sean Knowles was sneaking around in the background.

Wouldn't shy Mary Anne prefer that someone else talks on the phone? Unless it's Logan or something The cover of Aloha, BSC is one of my favorites. No disrespect here, azuhana but I hate that cover. But I DO agree with you that Fright Night is a good cover. I thought the same thing when I first saw it: each girl looks good. But Stacey's hair looks greasy, haha.

The first one that comes to mind is New York, New York. Those seven are *my* BSC. They all look so happy, including Dawn even though she about had a nervous breakdown in the book. I love the Hard Rock Cafe shirts (the first, if not only, time I remember seeing a real name brand illustrated). I always thought Claudia looked so frickin cool with her big hoops, cross necklace and tights under her shorts. I like Mary Anne's NYC fangirl shorts and Kristy with the Statue of Liberty crown (my avatar). I even like Mallory dorking out with the bunny ears behind Jessi.

I've never even rad the book but I always loved the cover of Mary Anne vs. Logan. It looks so romantic and fit with the idealized image I had of teen romance when I was a preteen.
New York, New York is a great choice!

My other favorite images are the covers of New York!, New York!, Shadow Lake and Sea City and the illustration of Claire hugging Mary Anne's leg in one of the Super Special book.

The first one that comes to my mind is Baby-Sitters Summer Vacation. It might not actually be called that - it's the Super Special where they all go to Camp Mohawk.

Dawn and Stacey look so similar on the covers. If the books didn't have their names in the titles, I'm not sure I could tell the girls apart. Stacey does not have a perm and Dawn's super long blonde California hair is really no longer than Stacey's. I still can't tell who is who on the Summer Vacation cover. They look like drunk twins that decided to run in and mess up the picture line.

^ I completely agree! I hate not being able to tell them apart. It woule be much easier if Dawn had the waist-lenth, nearly white hair that they say she has!
