If your life imitated the BSC

My parents recently bought a small farmhouse built in 1799 (complete with a barn and an enormous cornfield) and I'm currently visiting them there. It's pretty, relaxing, and full of cute creatures wandering around, but I can't help thinking of what hasn't happened because I don't live in the BSCverse.

-I haven't found a secret passage or a secret room complete with a diary (written by a girl exactly my age who's either going through similar problems as I am at this exact moment or in the middle of a mystery which explains the ghosts that are haunting this house and it's up to me to make sure their souls are at peace)

-While I was exploring the property, there was no "the most gorgeous guy I had ever seen" driving his tractor through the cornfield and explaining that he lived nearby and knows allll about this place and helps me to solve the mystery and then kisses me "gently" (although ew, I could do without that adverb). Oh, also he introduces himself using his first AND last name.

-My parents don't have four kids. They have one. To add insult to injury, there's no family of four kids next door that I'm going to babysit for.

-7 of my friends aren't here with me keeping a journal of their visit to my parent's farmhouse and we aren't having a seance.

-Besides the farmhouse, I would be the #1 student in my beginner's sewing class and would be ready to enter a local clothing design show in which I win first prize.

I'm depressed now. Let me know what your life would be like if it was warped by the BSCverse.

My life is so far removed from life in the 'Brook that I can't even draw parallels.

Fr one thing, as a parent, I wouldn't have such a wakeful baby at 7 months!

If my life imitated the BSC, I would like kids more. Or at all. And I would go on vacation more than once every ten years. And I would like to travel and want to go on vacation more than once every ten years. I do live their small town life though, although with less bizarre festivals that I'm aware of.

I would never ever want to be 13 forever, all the while cycling through different variations of the "same" year. However, it might be nice to have the chance at making a few different choices in my past.

Being able to afford a vacation almost at the drop of Watson's hat the way they did and have the (relatively) perfect (aside from Stacey and Abby) health to do so would rock. Hey, I could "win" the lottery because (unless it would change after one "year" had finished, or my "memory of that time erased, I would know what numbers would win on what day. We often harp on the BSC for not remembering what happened the day before let alone Claudia after another year of 8th grade, so most likely, their past did vanish once a new "year' began. Too creepy for me but the gist as I said could quite interesting!

Prince Charles is going to be in town on Monday. If my life imitated the BSC, I would step on his foot like Abby did. ;D

I went to an all-girls' college that is well-known for horseback riding. I'm sure that would put me at Riverbend with Mallory :-)
