Okay, so has anyone seen the movie Tarzan?
Following his encounter with Jane, Tarzan demands of his gorilla-mom, "why didn't you tell me there were creatures like me?" and then runs away into the forest to deal with this shocking revelation and a Phil Collins song probably begins to play and all that.
This was my totally reaction upon discovering this board....well, there was no Phil Collins, but needless to say, I was a little overwhelmed.
I seriously thought I was the only one.
Okay, well, not really. I figured there were fans out there somewhere, but I thought I was the only one who cared so much.
I stumbled across a few BSC blogs one day (how? I have no idea) and then this site. I've been lurking for awhile (wow, that sounds so creepy...) and I can't resist anymore. I have to join. I wish I'd found this years ago. I've been a big fan for....lord, I can't remember how long...It's part of my childhood. I continued reading them into my teens because the books were such a nice escape from life. And well, because I had no life...
Anyway, it's so nice to know other people love (and love to hate) these books.
Oh, and sorry for totally ignoring your "introduction" thread. I know that's probably annoying but hopefully you'll be able to forgive me.
