If you could create a cake for each BSC member, what kind would you design for them? Here are my pics: Kristy: Collie cake Mary Anne: Kitten cake Claudia: Artist's Pallete cake Stacey: Though she's my favourite, I can't think of one, so it would be some kind of flower or garden themed cake. She always describes sunflowers, lilacs and them so well in her books Dawn: Beach themed cake Mallory: Pencil cake Jessi: Cake with hand-painted ballet shoes Abby: number 13 cake, for lucky 13, I don't know her well enough and don't want to stick to Aretha Logan: baby farm animals Shannon: An astronomical night sky cake

It's kinda mean to make a cake for Stacey.

oops, no wonder I couldn't think of one for her, none of the ideas felt right...should have known it was diabetes
guess she would have rejected me in stacey vs. the bsc for not being a thoughtful friend LOL

Empire State Building for Stacey, or NYC skyline. An open book for Mal, with "Happy Birthday" on one side, and "Mallory" on the other...and lots of sprinkles to mimic sparkles

For Kristy I'd make a round cake, frost it white, and arrange red licorice strips on top to look like baseball stitches.
For Claudia, I'd make a flourless chocolate cake, so it would be super rich and more like eating fudge than cake. I'd probably pour hot fudge over it, too.
For Stacey, I'd make a rectangular cake with "I Love NY" (picture the heart, like the bumper stickers)
For Mallory I'd make one that looked like a horse pasture and stick a bunch of horse figurines on top.
For Jessi I'd make one that looked like a pair of curtains opening to reveal a stage, with a lone ballerina in the middle.
Dawn...maybe one that looked like the planet Earth, to go with her love of the environment.
Mary Anne would love a cat cake.

Kristy - a baseball cake. I'd make it look like a baseball field. I like the idea of the actual baseball, too, candykane.
Mary Anne - definitely the cat cake!
Claudia - paint pallette or maybe a famous piece of artwork like Starry Night. Ooh - or a candy bar themed cake!
Stacey - a big apple-shaped cake - sugar free, of course.
Jessi - a ballet slipper or a a leotard a tutu
Mallory - a book (or a volleyball...bahaha)
Dawn - a beach cake - ocean, sand, surfboard, sun
Abby - a soccer ball or a soccer field

For Mallory I'd make one that looked like a horse pasture and stick a bunch of horse figurines on top. I swear I like Mallory, but my first thought was would someone make little frosted manure piles near the horses. I want cake now.

I thought about a ball for Kristy too at first and I love NY for stacey, but wanted to be a little outside the box

I want some cake. It would be cute if we ever had a meet up to make/order mini cakes like the ones Anna and Abby made but with the above designs. Aw, I love the idea of a Collie cake for Kristy and Candykane, your idea for Claudia's cake sounds so good. I could also see a Krushers or even BSC block cake (Maybe a figure of a kid could even be on or holding each block) for Kristy. For Mary Anne, a photo album cake with cats? Or maybe her poster of NY at night, since she never did get one for her room. Claudia, I just had the thought of a hollow book cake. The "inside" of the book could be made up all sorts of layers of sweet things. A vending machine cake with her favorite snacks could work, too. Stacey, definitely NY related...maybe a taxi cab or a ticket stub to Paris Magic? Dawn: A Large Vegetable! Or, a plane with a banner, saying "Good-bye Dawn." Abby: Definitely soccer ball Mal: Ryan and Meghann Mouse scene. Jessi: Music Box, I could also see this for MA. Fun and tasty to think about!

OMG the mice scene for Mallory is too cute!
I also loved reading about Abby and Anna making the cakes, they made an artist's pallette too and another cake with ballet shoes, I remember now.
A cake with a big pickle for Dawn's departure would have been so funny!
I once had a music box cake with a ballerina on it, and it was for my 11th!
The blocks cake sounds awesome, it could be a solid cake, or a square for each block

A catcher's mitt cake for Kristy? Which reminds me of this: supprazz, a music box cake sounds lovely! I'll have to keep that idea in mind...

Lol, Supprazz, at the image of a flying pickle (plane). I love it. Since I don't care for either pickles or Dawn that works out even better. I think we need to get meeting and baking!

A candy bar themed cake sounds delicious.
I see Mary Anne having a cake with Tigger's face on it or maybe it would be in the shape of a cat.
