This is awesome, eventhough I already saw it. (It is on the last page of BSC Graduation Day!).

Now I have this image in my head of walking across the Atlantic Ocean on a path of BSC books...

For some reason, I don't remember the number of feet being in Graduation Day.

It's right after the pages of "The History Of The BSC" section.

^ I know that. It's just that I remember the other facts listed, such as the average height of a 13 year old girl but not the number of feet if the books were stacked vertically.

Lol, Starrynight. "The Bridge of BSC books: The (Non Yellow Brick) Road to Stoneybrook!" I can see it now. Seriously, very funny and cool image and hey maybe a great fan movie one day, too.

I looked up the Baby-Sitters Club By Numbers in Graduation Day and there are inconsistencies between the one in the book and the one here. For example, in the book, number of miles is 21,245 while in the above chart, it's 23,139. Also, the number of inches don't match up. In the book, it's 1,346,109,875 while in the above chart, it's 1,466,109,864.

Well, then maybe Ann did the math herself to get her answers. Also, I'm the height of an average 13 year old girl! Heh heh.

Then who did the math to get the other answers?

^I have no idea. Probably some Scholastic intern.

^ It would be ironic if in reality, it was the same person who did the math both times but got different results.

The total number of BSC books sold is stated as being 176 million as of March 2000. That is over 20 years ago. I wonder what that total is now.

They now have to add in the graphic novels. The Summer Before prequel isn't accounted for, either.
Edit: And audio books now, too. They keep cranking out new stuff for old material. I can't keep up with everything.
