Hi everyone! Along with loving the BSC and it's fandom, another of my hobbies is doll collecting. So of course I'm thrilled at the idea of there being Baby Sitters Club dolls out there for me to collect! I have pictures of the 18 and 12 inch lines, but does anyone have pictures of the two Remco lines? I'm curious how to tell them apart and also I have a visual want list I keep on my photobucket so not only can I tell people what I'm looking for, I can SHOW them. <3 Mimi

Picked up Kristy and Karen this weekend (the 1991 version where Kristy is in all red haha looks like a Santa outfit) in a vintage shop for an absolute bargain, box sealed and near perfect condition with everything in there never opened. Had never seen the dolls in Australia. I was so excited! Had looked at them online many times but would never buy them online. Couldn’t resist when I saw them. It was the only one they had in the shop. The lunch date with my husband cost us more than the dolls and we don’t eat out at expensive places. Feeling very fortunate.

Fun! I've never seen these in person, and my main hobby in life is going to thrift stores. I wonder if I have seen anything unboxed and just thought that they were off-brand Barbies.

I wonder the same but I’m sure I’ve never seen them. They do look a bit like little Barbies. The larger Kenner brand dolls look really cool from pictures. Funny, I like all this girly stuff more now than when I was a child. I used to love thrift shopping/op shopping but then some things became too expensive because the op shops were onto a good thing. I still find random things at times and often things I’ve been wanting for or looking out for a long time. Books and things. Thrift shopping in the US, sparklymouse is much better than here! I wish I’d had the main board game. I never saw the mystery game in Australia.

I had the Stacey and Charlotte Barbie-sized set. Stacey is slightly smaller than Barbie, she's maybe Skipper-sized? Which makes sense, since Skipper is Barbie's younger sister. My Stacey is wearing an oversized pink blouse and rainbow leggings and black boots. So sophisticated. My one gripe is her hair is crimped and not permed! The Charlotte doll's hair is super curly, they should have switched hairstyles. They came with like birthday party-themed stuff, a cake and a pizza and I think Charlotte had a party hat. They're mixed in with all my Barbies at my parents' house or else I'd hunt them down for pictures. I had the Kristy Kenner doll and she's so pretty! I still have her, I couldn't bear to throw her out. She's in her Krushers shirt, a button-down denim shirt over it, black bike shorts, then red socks (push down socks!) and white sneakers. And a whistle around her neck, so I guess it's her Krushers coach outfit. I sadly don't have the mini book she came with anymore, that's been lost to time. I don't even remember what the story was. My sister had Claudia, she wore a lacy white shirt, short purple overalls, hot pink tights and purple cowboy boots. I loved her outfit! And she had like gold earrings that were multiple hoops. Sadly, she fell behind my sister's bookshelf which then got covered in mildew when the ceiling above it sprung a leak, and Claudia did not survive and got tossed because she got damaged I'd love a Stacey or Mary Anne doll now though! I remember being at Toys R Us as a kid and seeing them all on the shelf, I miss those days!

Happened to be at my parents' house this week and went looking for my BSC dolls and found Kristy and Stacey! Stacey originally came with Charlotte, who's probably buried with my other Barbies, Stacey was elsewhere. That's probably also where her black cowboy boots are. Kristy is about the size of an American Girl doll

Those are cool! I think the larger Kenner dolls seem to be better quality. Hope you can find the rest of the accessories.

The more I Google BSC dolls the uglier they get. Some of the little Barbie sized ones are comically bad.
