I found the Mystery Game at Value Village a month or two ago, so of course I had to pick it up. Yesterday I asked my husband if he would play it with me and he said yes. I was shocked. It was a little pathetic, since I had to ask my husband which BSC member he wanted to be. Plus he kept saying BCS meeting instead of BSC meeting. It was embarrassing lol. I thought it was fun, and I love that it has a little disclaimer on the game that Kristy's neighborhood is the further away but in order to put it all on the game board it was in the bottom corner. I had not played in over 15 years so I had to read all the directions, even though I used to play all the time. The sad part was that I lost... Now if only I can find the regular game, I will be set, because I believe there is trivia in it, so I can totally beat my husband!

I never had the regular board game, and I'm kind of tempted to buy it now.

I got both games when they were new but I've never actually played the mystery one. The rules look complicated! I love the map, though. I also got the Sweet Valley High board game at Value Village a few years ago. I've played that twice, both times while having a few drinks...

Sometimes I feel like I missed out because I never really read much Sweet Valley. I read a lot of the Sweet Valley Kids when I ran out of BSC and BSLS at my school library, and I have read some Christmas Sweet Valley Twins books, but I never got into them. I don't think my mom really liked me reading SVH.
I want to find the original BSC game SO bad but I am such a cheapskate I hate the idea of buying it on ebay or something equally expensive (about $10 plus $15 shipping!)...

Now I really want to play the BSC board games with some drinks!!! I was tempted to buy them years ago. I asked my sister if she'd play and she laughed and said no (kind of a surprise) so I didn't bother. But drinks might change everything! This is a really random criticism, and I feel kind of bad sharing it because I don't want it to seem like I don't like the game or the efforts put into it. But something bothers me about the photos on the Why It Happened Board. I wish Dawn's photo background was blue to match Jessi's, because all of the others are coordinated. That's just a picky marketing thing that I picked out.

I have both Games that I found at two different Value Village stores a couple years ago. Never played both games though, I just used them as Collectors' Items.

Oh my gosh I want to play these games. Which one's the best? I don't know because my husband won't play the original game with me and I didn't ever play it as a kid Now if someone lives around me and wants to come play BSC I would be super stoked!

I never played any of the BSC board games.
Rachael, have fun when you do play the original BSC game.

If only we all lived next to each other lol.
I was looking these games up online and I came across a BSC themed monopoly. It looked really cool. Some other BSC themed board games would probably be fun to play as well like Clue or Risk.

Found someone to play the BSC game with. The 3 year old I baby-sit LOL I got a few new games for her a couple weeks ago at a garage sale. Today she goes to get a game and says "WE GOT ANOTHER NEW GAME!". I was like, um, no I don't think so, and I go over to see what she is talking about. It was the BSC game. I told her the game wasn't for her, and she said "But it looks like Karen" (I have read her some BSLS books. I was like, but you can't read to which she replied "you can read for me". So we played and it was pathetic, but still, at least someone will play it with me

It's not pathetic at all, it's really sweet and kids that young don't have biases about that sort of thing, they are curious and excited and open enough to play with something they don't have, as it says in the BSC guide, always liking other people's toys in the Kid Kit Maybeyou can invent board games to play, whether yourself or together
