Did you ever notice that all the lighter haired sitters had blue eyes, and all the brunettes had brown? I think Stacey would have looked great with brown eyes. And maybe Kristy with blue? Mallory might have looked very pretty with hazel eyes. Stacey would look really pretty with brown eyes!

I wish some of the sitters and other characters had green/hazel eyes. It's a little irritating how it's always either blue or brown eyes.

^ Really? Still, it'd have been nice if there were other characters that had green/hazel eyes that weren't "villains."

It would have been neat to see Dawn with black hair and green eyes.

I wonder what Stacey would look like with green eyes? I’d imagine she look really pretty since blond hair and green eyes are both recessive traits.

I have never put as much thought into hair or eye color as the people on this board. I rarely even notice eye color in real life. My mother has two different colored eyes, so there’s that option, too.

I was flipping through my copy of The Complete Guide to the Baby-Sitters Club to refresh my memory of some of the clients and I see that the Perkins girls have blond hair and brown eyes.

As a result, I don't remember what color her eyes were.

I had two classmates in my high school who had different colored eyes and there's a lady in my neighborhood who has one dark brown eye and one pale blue eye.

If you asked her what color her eyes were she'd say blue without dwelling on it.

Yeah, I've noticed that, and it bugs me! It's common in so many other books and movies too - writers often think all blondes have blue eyes and all brunettes have brown. Weirdly, what bugged me was actually in book #56 when a racist client asked for a blonde, blue-eyed babysitter and I couldn't figure out if it was Stacey or Dawn. She said she'd heard about a blonde blue-eyed sitter, so who knows which one she was talking about? There's also the question of why she didn't ask for Mary Anne, who she'd liked before. I can imagine she didn't want Kristy because she was worried about her questions. She got all panicky when Kristy tried to ask why she'd shut the door on Jessi. And it's possible the kids told her that Kristy told them that she'd sent an African-American sitter that they never got to meet.

Mary Anne wasn’t white enough for her. She needed the Grace Kelly of babysitters.
