Here's an idea for a new game. Quote a line from a book, the next person has to guess which book it's taken from.
Example... "Going out to the mailbox each afternoon is sometimes the highlight of my day."

Mary Anne's Bad Luck Mystery! (I just re-read this Good game idea, BooBoo. Here's one: "I've been waiting for this day my whole life."

Hmm, that one's a bit hard! Maybe you could add to it?

I'm sorry about that. I had a feeling it was harder but when I read the chapter it was in last night in full, it was a positive (Mallory, hint) moment to post. "I have been waiting for this day my whole life. Well, at least since I became a Marguerite Henry fan."

I'm sorry if I did make this too hard even with the hint. Since the board has been quieter lately maybe I should try something easier. The answer to the above, btw, was from BSC in the USA. Mal said that before visiting Chincoteague Island. Here's an easier (I hope one) that is absolutely one of my all-time favorite BSC moments, too. "Oh he fries food the air with the greatest of vease.."

Okay, I know the last post was from nine months ago but maybe we can continue it. I really like this game idea. "Honestly, Dawn is so logical." Hint: Mary Anne said that

I cheated for the answer to mallorypike's. Haha. Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger.
How about...
"What are you guys, elephants? Don't you ever forget anything?"

No, it's "Mary Anne Saves The Day", when the other members of the BSC are recounting the jobs Claudia didn't offer around.
OK, how about: "Don't be surprised if I ram into the toolshed or wreck up the lawn or something."

Jackie said it in Keep Out, Claudia "I don't think my skirt looks so great on you after all. It's a little...tight."

Lol, I almost typed "MA's Wicked Stepsister," as my answer. In this book from what I remember, certainly by her remark, MA was not very kind to Dawn. I'm glad this game is starting up again, always good to have some extra BSC discussion. Here's my quote from an LS Halloween book I just reread, "No, no, Emmie gote." Nannie thinks Emily wants to dress up as a ghost when in reality she wants to be a goat. The picture of Emily the goat, for an added hint, is cute.

Aww, haven't read that one Let's try another... "I noticed his fingers dangling off my shoulders, like a bunch of mini-bananas."
