I think I would like to read Sunny or Maggie's portrait collection. I always enjoyed their diaries in the California Diaries and would like to know more about their life beforehand.

I had no clue who Mara Semple was so I looked it up in the Conplete Guide. She is listed on page 199, right column. This is what it says: ^Jessi's Horrible Prank is probably my second (behind Terrible Truth) least favorite BSC book so I rarely read it--so that explains about my completely not knowing who Mara was. ETA: I recently read Karen's Book and would enjoy reading at least one chapter of Andrew's book. I do always wish each of the charges had had their own "book." As for an older character, I'd most love to read Mimi's Portrait.

^ So do, I. I'd also love to know something about her husband and perhaps their extended family as well.

^ I just liked the name. But that's merely the reason for her inclusion. The order that the names appear in is just random and doesn't reflect preference of one person/name over another or the others. I really like the name Mara. (I like Marley, too...but not Marla or Margo. It's funny how one little syllable can change your whole opinion on something.)

^I had a camp counselor named Marla when I was 9 or 10. I prefer the names of Mal's 6 other siblings, though Byron could have easily been Bryan or even Ryan, to Margo but it does work for the character.

I would love to learn more about Mimi's life too. I would love to see what her life was like in Japan, and what life was like for her when she came to America.

sparklymouse, I don't like the name Margo, either. Probably because I associate it with crazy Margo from the Sweet Valley High books. Whenever I hear the name, I think of her before I think of Margo Pike. On topic, I'd love to read Mimi's portrait.

I guess I'm at the start of the line for those who would not be interested in a Mimi book.
