I really would like to have read Mallory's. I just love reading about big families, and I would like to have seen more about her family. We don't really get too much about the other Pike kids. I would like to have seen hers and everyone elses reactions when another kid was being born, although I am sure after a while they got used to it. Other than Claire, they were popping out a new kid every year.
And maybe it wouldn't be so much a portrait edition, but more on the lives of some of the parents. Like Richard being in love with Sharon in High School, and then meeting Mary-Anne's mother and then her dying and his experience with raising a little girl all by himself. And also, wasn't Mary-Anne living with her grandparents for about six months? I would like to have seen his thoughts and feelings during those six months. And there are also other parents like Elizabeth, or even Watson. I think even Mrs and Mr Pike, because wow, eight kids. I know the portraits are meant more for their childhood, but I'd like to see their perspective as parents. Watson went from being married, to living alone in that mansion (he only had Karen and Andrew every other weekend) to having the house full again.

I never thought about the parents having their own portraits. Now that you mention it, Ashley, it does sound interesting especially about Richard. I also wish there was a portrait for Mallory as she is my number one favorite sitter.

I agree with the above of Richard...I would imagine his would be pretty interesting.
I'd love to read Alan Gray's and Cary Retlin's...I think it would explain a lot! I always imagined Alan as an only child, but who knows if that's how Ann really pictured him. Cary's life and friends before Stoneybrook could be really fun too!

Aw, I'd love to read Richard's portrait. I never really thought much about which of the parents I'd like to learn more about, outside of Mimi that is first and foremost and also it would be interesting to read about Seth's life in Nebraska. Interesting to think about, thanks, Sarish. I would still love to read grown up wise about Mr. Staples and also Jamie and his family since they are my very favorite of the clients. Who else? The Pike and Rodowsky parents might provide a lot of stories! As for the kids, Andrew, Vanessa, and Janine, too.

I feel like Richard and Janine's portraits would be full of awkwardness and I'm all for that.

In a similar vein to Janine, in a way, I'd like to see Shannon's.

That will be fun to read about Richard and the other parents of their biography.

I would only read about Richard if it was about all of his romances. It would be funny if he had a Karen-Ricky type relationship, then Sharon, then Alma, then the women when Mary Anne was little, then Sharon again.

^That does seem like it would be fun to read about - but heartbreaking when it came to Alma. Although, I am sure if it didn't center around all his relationships, his one with Alma would HAVE to be in there! At least the younger one and Sharon might provide a bit of comical relief - especially if it showed how he dealt with Sharon's scatter-brain first hand!

I'd be interested in Cokie's portrait, primarily because we get few glimpses into her life outside of wanting Logan and being mean to the BSC.

I'd love to see what her home life was like. Was she an only child? I always liked when Mary Anne said she looked out of place in her home-y kitchen when she goes to her house for the author project...
