The final video. It had the babysitters looking back on things that we saw depicted from the books. Like when Kristy's mother and Watson got marrried and they babysitters had mock wedding with the little kids. and when the babysitters and had to partner up with boys in there class in mock wedding and rasie and egg as their child. And a scene were they talk about Mimi having a tea party with the sitters. These thing were in the books and they acted them out in flashbackson the episode. Which had the school year ending and the babysitters staying the night at claudias and rading the kitchen why they remembered.
At this point all the girls were teenagers , and couple of them were nearly 15, 16 years old. Much older than they were in the first video. To let you know this was never a tv series but a video club in the babysitters books. Thats why the dates between the videos are so far apart. An then scholastic sold them through book orders , some of them. Do to popularity HBO got intrested and aired the videos as a many series of sorts, Airing one episode a month to stretch it out. Then Disney picked it up and aired them back to back with Kids Incorporated. Eventually any video store could order them. Now they become hard to find. I taped all the videos myself off disney. Tapes a bit warn now.

That's a nice way to end the tv series. I can't decide if I would like it if the book series ended somewhat similarly. It might be touching to have the sitters recall thier favorite baby-sitting moments, but I don't know if I'd want to reread a chapter-or-so that I've already read.

If I remember correctly then they kind of did that when Mallory went away to school in the books. It was actually interesting to read because they didn't go into great detail. Just a couple of "hey, remember when this happened?" and then we as the readers could go "aw, yeah I do".

Just a couple of "hey, remember when this happened?" and then we as the readers could go "aw, yeah I do". I like those moments. I'm looking forward to reading that part now when I get to it. I guess having the sitters recall memories or going through flashbacks would only bug me if it goes on for too long. I actually have those same thoughts about clip shows.

I watched this one again recently when the BSC videos were added to Netflix, and I loved seeing all the little details from the books that they included. My favourite was the scene where you can see the inside of Claudia's locker, and there's a flyer for Disposable Comestibles, her junk food art show.

^ That's so cool! I just watched this one recently but didn't notice that. I love the inclusion of book stuff too. There was one where you could see Nancy Drew books in Claudia's room. I think it might have been in Stolen Secrets when they thought the room was bugged and started flinging things all over.

At this point all the girls were teenagers , and couple of them were nearly 15, 16 years old. Much older than they were in the first video. That's really interesting - I had thought it was strange that the girls seemed to have grown so much between the first episode and the last episode. It makes more sense now, knowing they weren't filmed like an actual TV season. While I don't think this was the most entertaining episode, I think it showed a lot of care and respect for the series, because they crammed in so much stuff from the books. I thought the end was funny - the girls are all yawning and then Kristy's suddenly like "Wow, do you know what time it is?!?" I was expecting her to say that the sun was rising, but then she says it's midnight and they go to bed. Oh, you wild party animals!

This was one of my favorite episodes in the series. It was cute and I liked seeing the flashbacks.

Even though you kind of expected to have it be more like the super special by the same name.

I wanted Kristy's room as a kid. I loved how there was a shelf built in at the foot of the bed with a lamp and pile of books on top. I liked her bedspread and how she arranged everything on her desk.
I thought it was funny how, during the final scene, Kristy asks, "Oh my gosh! Guess what time it is?!" to which Stacey replies, "Oh, midnight?" Kristy asks, "How'd you know" and Stacey says, "I can read time" and they all giggle.

This is one of my favorite episodes it's so sweet and cute and a little bit cheesy! The memories are so cute and sweet and I liked how they were from the books, too! This episode was a great way to end the series I wish there was a second season, though! That'd be so dibbly chilly! it was so unrealistic that the girls thought midnight was incredibly late to stay up. didn't they stay up until like 1 or 2 in the morning in the books? whatever, lol.

Even though this episode was a bit weird, I still enjoyed it. The memories were good ones, and seemed consistent. One thing I didn’t like was Kristy’s imitation of Mimi when she was reminiscing about Mimi’s first pizza, I thought it was racist. I also didn’t like how Jessi and Mallory weren’t really given chances to tell memories of their own. I guess it was because they are the young ones.
