Even though this episode was a bit weird, I still enjoyed it. The memories were good ones, and seemed consistent. One thing I didn’t like was Kristy’s imitation of Mimi when she was reminiscing about Mimi’s first pizza, I thought it was racist. I also didn’t like how Jessi and Mallory weren’t really given chances to tell memories of their own. I guess it was because they are the young ones. I don’t remember how Kristy acted, but I think it’s interesting to see things that were perfectly acceptable at the time and know they wouldn’t fly now.

My favorite episode, loved seeing some scenes from books come to life on screen. The mock wedding between David Michael and Karen was the funniest.

What a great final episode! I loved it. The Pinky and Buffy part was so funny! Great ending to the show. Would have been cool if they had filmed the flashbacks before the first episode so they all looked younger. Mary Anne's braids were a good reminder that these were set before episode one!

I love all the callbacks to part of the books in the episode. I just realized that this episode came out before the book baby-sitters' remember did. I wonder if they got inspiration for that book from this episode.

I like seeing this sometimes, which is why I read books from the 80s! Me too! And from the 1990s also! I somehow always think of the BSC as teenagers of the 1990s, even though the first book came out in the late 1980s. I also didn’t like how Jessi and Mallory weren’t really given chances to tell memories of their own. I guess it was because they are the young ones. Yeh, I wish Mal and Jessi had a chance to tell a memory of their own also.

So I'm selling this VHS on eBay - I don't have a VCR anymore so I have no way to watch it. I bought it at a library yard sale years ago. Anyway, I wanted to share the cover because it's an illustration that isn't from a book: Ugh don't know why it's so small. I think everyone looks cute!

Mallory looks like the main character surrounded by less cool friends. She looks really pretty and tall! Jessi and Claudia have the same skin tone.

Love Mal’s hair. We have Mary Anne in pigtails even though she was out of them by the time Jessi arrived. Reminds me of the postcard book, which had lots of scenes that never happened in the books.

This one starts in the hallway at SMS. There are major details in this opening! The girls all have lockers next to each other. Stacey and Mary Anne have matching French braids. Stacey pulls a picture of a limo out of her locker and stares at it with heart eyes. She has a map of NYC in her locker. Kristy’s locker has some K+ buttons, a paddle ball, a BSC flyer, a few $2 bills, and a black and white photo that I can’t make out. It looks like a naked person holding a sign. Dawn pulls out an old valentine and a license plate?! Mallory has big pictures of cartoon-y cats/llamas that say “who needs ‘em?” Jessi has pictures of herself and some ballet slippers. Back to Stacey, where we see that she smashed a rose into her algebra book. Kristy has an autographed softball. Claudia has a photo of her and Mimi. You can’t see much of Claudia’s locker, but I think I saw some ribbon/streamers and one point. She had a strip of those candy dots on paper hanging up for easy access. Mallory has a computer-generated certificate from Jessi that says Mal is the best friend ever. We never get a glimpse of Mary Anne’s locker, but we do see Logan grope her a little.
Mr. Redmont has a big bubble butt and gets way too into Kristy’s personal space. One hundred words is not much. I rambled on twice as much as that just by talking about their locker decorations.
Mimi says that Mallory of all people had good luck! Because of the way her tea steam rose to the ceiling.
All the girls had proper pajama outfits with matching tops and bottoms, while Claudia wore a Hard Rock Cafe t-shirt. She was cool.
They stayed up until midnight and acted like it was 5 am. Kristy turned the bedroom light out, but Claudia’s door was wide open, and the hall light was on full blast. At least get a dimmer switch, Kishis. I could NOT sleep the way they were just elbow to elbow in a line on the floor. I would be so claustrophobic and creeped out by so many people breathing on me.

I'm team Claudia on this. I don't understand PJ sets and don't wear them. Who wants to sleep in a buttoned shirt?
