What are your favourite birthday parties or dinners? These can be of sitters, siblings, charges, parents, classmates, anyone you want but it has to be birthday. Mine are:
Pamela's circus birthday party Marilyn & Carolyn's party, I loved how they liked Mallory's piano pin and science book Sharon's surprise birthday dinner turned engagement Claudia's surprise birthday party after kindergarten at Kristy's house

My favorite is Karen's seventh birthday at the little house...I loved what they ate.
I also though Pamela's circus party sounded really fun.

Was going to say her 7th birthday at the little house too, mainly for the fancy clothes and decorations, but it was ruined for me cause she already knew which presents she's getting and only chose burgers for her dinner.

Haha, burgers sounded great to me because they were home-cooked...and mashed potatoes, mmm. And cake and peppermint stick ice cream. Okay, I think this is what I'm requesting for my birthday this year And yeah, the fancy clothes were nice. I liked Karen's yellow dress.

Yeah true, home cooked is always good but seems like barbecue food to me. Can't go wrong with mashed potato and the cake & ice cream though, those looked delicious on the cover!!! It's one of my favourite covers for a Karen book.

When I was able to eat hard foods (including candy) I loved peppermint stick ice cream. I remember the very best batch I ever enjoyed was at a local ice cream place in Arcata. Just once they even had a combo pink peppermint and fudge, that was dibble! Wenonah, I bet your ice cream is awesome, too. Some of my favorite parties or celebrations are: Kristy Day from The Summer Before. I wish both Kristy and Mary Anne had "remembered" this event in the regular books. I just loved how for once we clearly saw that MA truly did care for Kristy and wanted to remind her best friend not only how much she meant to her but to their friends and neighbors. I would have loved reading about Bo the dog's birthday party that is referenced in "Kristy and the Walking Disaster," and had Shannon ever aged, Kristy had said Bo would be invited to her first birthday. I thought it was so sweet that the Rodowsky boys did something special for Bo.

I was going to say Karen's Sleepover but I realized it wasn't a birthday party

Jamie Newton's birthday party comes to mind. So much happened in that one party. I still can't believe Mrs. Newton would invite so many kids and sitters for a four year old's birthday party.

Booboo, it's the result of many years' worth of r&d to get it right, collaborating with my dad.

Yeah Jamie's sounded like fun, but the baby sitters ruined it ^ Jamie had to yell, "Mommy" in order to get them to stop. That was so cute!

I haven't read all the BSC books. My favorite was Karen's Birthday party, Jamie's 4th birthday, & the Arnold's twins eighth birthday.
