It's 19 days until Christmas, so I thought it's not too early to start a Christmas thread! I'm pretty happy, because I think I'm actually done my Christmas shopping. I wanted to get it done so I can just relax and enjoy the holidays. I do make some of my presents though, and there's one I still need to finish. I put up my tree and most of my decorations, but I still have a lot of ornaments to put on the tree. I was in an incense shop last weekend and I decided to buy some frankincense and myrrh incense to get in the spirit. It smells really nice.

We mostly got our Christmas shopping done. Decorate the house. I decorate my room with my own Christmas decorations, I got in the pass. I got two Christmas crafts to make to add my Christmas decorations in my room. I did some wrapping presents for my nieces. More to wrapped. But my mom does the wrapping, I do the name tags.

I still need to do most of my shopping. I usually have it all done by now, but this year I just haven't been able to get motivated. I do have my tree up and some other indoor decorations.

Funny, I was listening to the radio this morning and the announcer was like "it's 19 days until Christmas." I haven't done any shopping as I'm not sure yet what to get for people...boo. I decorated last weekend. I've been playing Christmas carols...old records and actual playing, on my guitar

Wow, 13 days till Christmas already! Shocking. We decorated the tree, the house, I decorated my bedroom and my mini-tree. I'm half-finished with my Christmas shopping. I bought my sisters and brother presents. I also bought my closet friends presents. I still need to buy my parents and grandparents on both sides of the families, though. Plus my aunt, uncle, and two cousins. Um, I'm planning to start a BSC Christmas book reread as soon as I get the chance. I recorded Christmas movies. I created a "Christmas 2013" youtube music playlist (I don't have I-tunes...). I'm going to make some simple Christmas crafts just for enjoyment. I'm waiting for snow, too...

I just did some more of my Christmas shopping online. Love doing that instead of dealing with crowds. I do have to go out tomorrow and finish the rest, but it's all easy stuff and I have all my stops planned out to make it as simple as possible.

Christmas isn't really celebrated here except for by the super-religious, and Orthodox Christmas is January 7th. New Years is the tree/gifts/family holiday here. So I will be at work on Christmas, and then I will fly the 30th to the US and spend two weeks there.

I had forgotten all about that! I wish they had kept up the site; it's really funny.

Ahhh! I am just seeing this for the first time. I'm so in love with it! Many of these really made me laugh. If this was an actual book, for purchase, I would definitely buy it and read it every holiday. I really appreciate all of the clever photos, and the scrap booking style, and all the creativity that went into it. So good!!!

That is hilarious! I cracked up when I saw the picture of young JTT as Cam Geary.

Well, my work had Christmas party today. We had lunch at a restaurant, I didn't like the pasta. So, they change it to Chicken pita sandwhich. The chicken was good, but it had spices on it. Then, we went back to the building. Had hot chocolate with marshmallows, whip cream, and Hershey's chocolate sauce. We did Christmas shopping. Using tickets to buy stuff. I bought 3 of the pictures, I made for my family. 4 homemade ornaments for my family as well. Then, people wrap our stuff for Christmas presents to our family. Sing Christmas songs, did a raffle, decorate cookies, for a contest. I didn't win. Then, played Charade/pictionary (Charaictionary.) You can either draw or acted out, when you picked out the strip of paper, that is written on. For example a Christmas tree. (Christmas themes.) Also, wrote postcards to the troops. (6 or 7 of them.)
I got a Christmas card from my Aunt and Uncle. I'm going send them a Christmas card.

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and/or a Merry Wednesday. However you celebrate or spend your day tomorrow I hope you will have some good cheer. ETA: I apologize for the magnifying glass on the image that is an ad. :/ Lately there seems to be more of those everywhere.
