^ That is a classic ;D Just reading about it in this post gave me a laugh. I'm also laughing at the ads at the top of the page right now. One is for "Dawn Car" and I'm picturing some type of environmentally friendly car or dealership ;D (Guess I just really needed something to laugh about right now...)

^ It does have a good ending ;D Have you ever read it? It isn't one of my favorites but not too bad, especially if you like dogs okay (I can't stand dogs so that's probably why I don't like it more. Don't even like reading about them ;D)

No, I've read it several times. I just feel so bad for all the pet owners worrying, even if it turns out all right in the end.

Okay. I guess you do like dogs a lot then ;D What is the subplot of this one? For some reason, I assume it involves Charlotte spying and playing detective. It seems like that happens in almost every mystery....

^ ;D Thanks. That answers another question I had of when the Krashers were formed and if they were in any books other than Sea City Here We Come. Now I might have to read this one again when I'm in a "baseball" mood - or maybe a "pet" mood (though that might be a while ;D)

greer, I know what you mean! I don't like reading about poor Tigger in Kerry Bruno's closet/bedroom for the same reason. Even though that book also had a happy ending, I hate reading it!

aln, you can always just skip the "pet" parts i may do that, cause i'm curious about the krashers too.

This is the first real mystery book in the mystery series... (well, actually the Missing Kid wasn't too bad). I thought it was a good read, but with some lucky coincidences. I liked how Dawn researched all the dogs, lol. And the searching they did. The Krashers was pretty boring, oh well.

^ Yeah, the Krashers were boring. I don't like reading about the baseball stuff all that much. On the whole I found this mystery okay. I think it was the second or third one I read in the mystery series and liked it a lot as a kid, because of all the animals. But now, I find it just meh. Its redeeming feature is something that's already been mentioned before: Claudia's infamous "licking" of the brown dog. ;D

Maybe Dawn isn't a vegetarian because she likes animals, but because she "hates plants" (groan).

^ ;D I don't think she is a vegetarian because she likes animals. I think this book even says so.

She's a vegetarian because all Californians are, lol. Just like all NYers are sophisticated!
