Didn't see a thread for this but was curious. With just a quick thought, I think my least favorite is Dawn and the Disppearing Dogs. Abby and the Notorious Neighbor and Kristy and the Missing Fortune are lesser favorites too. Kristy and the Haunted Mansion always was first but closely followed by Kristy and the Missing Child, Mystery at Claudia's House (though as an adult it is so obvious what the mystery is - admit that I didn't catch on the first time I read as a kid - is Janine a spy? ), Beware Dawn, Claudia and the Mystery Photograph and MA and the Secret in the Attic (I always seem to like the books that I owned and read over and over as a kid). Now I also really like Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade, Stacey and the Stolen Hearts, MA and the Zoo Mystery, and Claudia and the Lighthouse Ghost now too. Basically, I like almost all of the mysteries As for Super Mysteries, Baby Sitters Haunted House is my favorite but I also like Fright Night because it is in Salem. Don't care much for either of the other two - especially Baby-Sitters Beware because at least the other one has a "Christmas-sy" feel.

I always loved Beware Dawn, Mary Anne and the secret in the attic as far as the normal mysteries go. I loved the mysteries a lot as kids ( and still do).
The super mysteries were my favorite. I loved Fright night the best because of where it took place. I also loved how it took place during Halloween. That is such a fun holiday for me. I loved all the other super mysteries as well.

I forgot to include in my least favorites Kristy and the Cat Burglar and Kristy and the Middle School Vandal. Something about books that involve Cary (with the exception of Silent Witness that was redeemed by Amelia's cuteness) bug me. Like msstock, I love Fright Night taking place on Halloween and read it every Halloween. Wish I could go to Salem for Haunted Happenings over that time. New England in the fall has such a "Halloween-y" feel anyway

I have only read about half of the mysteries, so this is kind of tough for me. I think my favorites are The Mystery at Claudia's House, MA and the Secret in the Attic, and Mallory and the Ghost Cat. I dislike a LOT of the others... Dawn and the Disappearing Dogs, Dawn and the Surfer Ghost, Claudia and the Mystery at the Museum... I'm not really a big fan of mysteries in general.

I've only read the first 12 mysteries and I'm not a big fan of the mysteries either... but here's my pick! favorites: Beware, Dawn, Kristy and the missing kid, Mary Anne and the secret in the attic least favorites: Stacey and the missing ring, Jessi and the jewel thieves (surprised that hasn't been mentioned before ), claudia and the mystery at the museum, stacey and the mystery money... well, as I said, I just don't really like mysteries.

I think my favourites are Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic, Mallory and the Ghost Cat, and Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall, but there are some mysteries that I haven't read in about twelve years, so I don't remember them very well! That's why I don't often post in mystery threads -- I don't want to read spoilers, since I do plan to reread all the mysteries someday.
I'm reading Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade right now, and I like it. I also really like the Super Mysteries. I've never been a big fan of the mystery series in general, but that has more to do with the entire concept rather than the quality of the books. I just thought it was ridiculous that the BSC were going to be solving a mystery every two months.

I wish i had a mystery to solve every few months - have never even had one I'm a pretty big mystery fan - my third favorite genre after kids series I grew up with (BSC and a few others) and historical fiction. Still get creeped out by Haunted Masquerade and Lighthouse Ghost (probably because I read that one for the first time at a campground really late at night and then went ouside alone in the dark where I was startled by an owl ). The kids books that really scare me, though, are Sweet Valley Super Chillers. Guess it doesn't take much - 4th grade level books (Needless to say, I'm not a horror movie fan but do love mystery/crime/adventure dramas).

I like the ones that are the least mysterious -- i.e. no burglars, criminals, etc. My favorites are The Mystery at Claudia's House, Mallory and the Ghost Cat, and Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic.
I just read Claudia and the Mystery at the Museum and I HATED it. I'll have to find the thread for it so I can post my thoughts there. I also had a tough time getting through Stacey and the Mystery Money because it was so boring. I liked Kristy and the Haunted Mansion more than I thought I would.
But I'm with inge and sotypical, I don't like the Mysteries very much at all.

Now I'm really wanting to reread a bunch of mysteries so I can remember what the heck happens in them!

Stacey and Charlotte shopping together was one of my favorite moments in that mystery. I liked at the restaurant they went to, the kids menu items each had a different peanuts character name. ( I am a huge peanuts fan myself)

I just really liked the food on the menu at the restaurant in Mystery Money:) Forgot about the Peanuts names. Will have to reread soon even though I don't remember being able to get much into the story. Maybe I will this time, though.

My favorite has always been Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic. I almost think it should have been a regular book though, because it was so important.
Least favorite? Whoever and the Zoo mystery. I couldn't get into that one at ALL.

My favorite has always been Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic. I almost think it should have been a regular book though, because it was so important. I definitely agree that it should have been a regular book. There are a few other instances that took place outside of the regular series that I felt should have been in the main books. Boo-Boo dying comes to mind.
