I know there's a month and six days till Valentine's Day but people celebrate Christmas early so why not spend V-day early? So...what are you guys doing for V-day this year? I'm not married (I'm still in high school so yeah) and I don't have a boyfriend right now. But I like this holiday for chocolate, love for family and friends, and reading V-day BSC books.

I don't have boyfriend either. We just buy valentine's chocolate, a card, & maybe go out to dinner. if, the weather is not bad. I wish, I have someone to go out with, instead of my family.

I'm not with anyone right now, but in the past I would pull out the book 1000 ways to be romantic. I can't quite look at the book quite the same way anymore though, it's full of misogyny and I have a serious problem with that. Would rather feel like a kid again and read Karen's in Love and Mary Anne vs. Logan as I did for years growing up. If I had a daughter, I would probably be reading those bsc books with her while counting down the days to valentine's day I especially love how the kids celebrated Valentine's Day with their families at breakfast with their sweet treats, would love to do that for people deserving of my time one day

It's not really celebrated here. We have two different holidays for men and women.

I'm planning a kid party for the library. I'm going to make lots of construction paper hearts with a die-cut machine so they can make their own Valentines, and we'll have cookies and punch. I'm also putting together some games like Valentine bingo and pin the heart on Cupid.
As for my own plans on Valentine's, I have no idea. I found heart-shaped Dove chocolates at the grocery store, so I want to make peanut butter cookies and put those on top in place of Hershey's Kisses. Jason and I will get each other cards but we haven't really talked about anything else.

^Oh yeah, was that the subplot in Stacey and the Stolen Hearts? I haven't thought about that VDay book in forever as the main plot is not one I much care for (not a fan of Cary and I felt badly for Alan in this one). I just remember I believe it was Mathew Hobart had a crush on MA. Candykane, the party does sound like fun and I love the pin the heart on the cupid--very cute. I'm sure the kids will have a great time thanks to your efforts. I don't currently have a special man in my life romantically so I will share some cards/e-cards with some family and friends. Maybe enjoy an ice cream treat. I do agree, Supprazz that it was awesome and so cute how the BSC and their families enjoyed special Vday breakfasts, I'd love to do that, sometime too.

I am lucky, Valentines day falls on a Payday for me this year, so Matt and I will probably go out to dinner and just spend the evening together. We don't really buy cards that often for each other, but we make each other cards.

^That's awesome that you also enjoy making cards and very sweet Matt does too. Store bought cards can be handy and also sometimes fun to personalize with stickers or photos but a home-made card can be even more special and fun to create, too. I'm also just a friendly mail (of either e or snail form) fan in general.
