Welcome diva! Cute sig pic. ;D I also really like this book, especially the stuff about Claudia's photography interest since I sometimes like taking pictures.

^yeah they're always really greasy and yucky-feeling. money is yucky in general. like almost all dollar bills have cocaine traces on them. ^ And I heard that it costs like 2 cents just to make one penny. Besides, there are too many of them as it is. They carry diseases (possibly). So, I agree.

Funny story: the coin that we in the U.S. commonly call a penny is not actually called that. Offically, it's a one-cent coin. "Penny" comes from the british coin "pence" and we adopted it here unofficially. The penny hasn't been made out of copper since the 1800s. In fact, they switched to zinc in the late 70s, early 80s when the cost of brass rose above the cost to make pennies. They are currently made out of a copper plated zinc disk, but you can find other ones that are made out of aluminum, brass, tin, nickle and some other random materials.
I also heard that if you ahve an aluminum penny, the secret service can come and take it away from you. Oh, and if you have a brass & copper penny, it will ring when you flick it. If you ahve a zinc / copper penny, it wont'.
I have no idea why I know this information. Oh, and it does cost more to make the penny then the penny is worth, but it's not double. It's like an extra .03 cents or something.

I really liked this book! One of the only Chapter 2's that I liked, too. I thought it was cute how she took their pictures as they came in, and explained how it related to their personality I also really liked the 'Day in the Life of Stoneybrook' and would also like to see the pictures! ;D

^ I think this was definitely one of my favorite chapter 2s. I always like it when they incorporate those into the stories somehow. ;D

I love how Stacey strikes a pose as soon as she sees the camera.

I do not know. I guess they are really rare though, as they made some and then decided to not circulate them. Since they were never circulated, they are considered illegal? IT would be the Secret Service because they are the people who deal with forged money. (as we should know from Stacey and the Mystery Money )

I have absolutely no problem with pennies. They DO add up into dollars, and I don't have enough of either to turn my nose up at coins. I even pick up pennies off the ground. (That probably grosses some of you out!)
