What is your favourite little sister book with a garden, and why does the garden appeal to you? I chose Karen's Plane Trip, cause I love salads

I have to say secret garden. It sounds like something in a fantasy and the cover is nicely done!

Vegetable garden for the same reason supprazz, and also because I like the idea of growing it yourself...I want to have a vegetable garden some day!
The secret garden is also appealing because "The Secret Garden" is one of my favorite books...

I get weird about dirt and soil sometimes, but I also like the idea of planting though I would worry too much about raccoons and other animals getting to them. If anything, I would want to grow them indoors or set them up in a way where they are protected and still getting sunlight. I thought it was neat how there were instructions at the back of the book for growing carrots indoors and such. I wish I tried it then, but I was more interested in flower gardens then and my family and I would do the front lawn every spring.

I just finished reading Karen's Magic Garden and that gets my vote for this poll. I loved the idea of the garden and it did sound so beautiful and just full of flowers. I also liked that it seemed to have different sections to it, some wooded some with flowers and just all green and peaceful. I haven't read about Karen's Pumpkin Patch in a while (since Halloween but did enjoy how the KIMCC came to adopt pumpkins in that story.

Now I want to read Magic Garden, I don't know if we have it though it wouldn't surprise me if it popped up. It sounds lovely.
I forgot to include Karen's Ducklings in the poll, referring to Stoneybrook Academy's courtyard with the pond and crocuses and such, and I loved all the springtime descriptions and talk about gardens, flowers, the weather etc. and thought Karen's poem was sweet.
