I know this is a day early. I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and safe 4th of July weekend. If you have travel plans, please drive safely. I know here in the big city, major holidays can cause major traffic. I am not a fireworks fan at all, I don't care for the booming noise and also that can affect my TMJ. I will read about the BSC on Wheels in "Haunted House" and also will check out, thanks to Afton in her post for reminding me, Suzi and Buddy in Too Many Sitters, celebrate the 4th too. and

Yes, happy belated Fourth of July!
Although the weather here was beautiful during the day on Canada Day earlier this week, it got so foggy that night that the local fireworks display was postponed, so I've still got those to look forward to!

What a cheering section I had! The start and finish are at the same place and the route winds through town. My family was all there at both ends- and this year we had so many guests that it was a huge group, close to 20 people.
