Yeah, it was but I think winning the lottery was to make the story more interesting.

So far, I've only read two SS: "Summer Vacation" and "California Girls" and I really love both! But for now, I'd say "California Girls". It brought me back so many memories of my trip to California more than ten years ago.

My favorite Super Special is Baby-Sitters Remember and Snowbound, I love these two books a lot because they are just too wonderful.

Starring the BSC. I still laugh at Dawn trying to change the playI know it was a stupid plot line but it just has me in stitches reading it.

I enjoyed Snowbound. Maybe because it's more or less one of the few realistic Super Specials of the series and that I love winter themed books. But Baby-sitters On Board comes a close second.

Is it weird that choosing a favourite is so much harder than choosing a least favourite? The most annoying thing about ANY of these books is that Claudia keeps getting a love interest and then he never gets mentioned again. I also really like Super Specials that let you know where it is in the original series. Like "Summer Vacation" is clearly somewhere around #25 because Mimi seems to have mild dementia, but is still alive, and Stacey is still living in NY. Meanwhile, the "New York" book takes place before #51, because Laine and Stacey are still good friends, and "California Girls" takes place after #23, because the We Love/Heart Kids Club is already known and casual. Actually, "California Girls" might be my favourite, despite Claudia's already-done plot and Mallory's "I want to look like a California girl" plot. I think it's something to do with me really liking Stephie, and her friendship with Mary Anne. Little issue, though - in a later Super Special ("USA"), one of the characters mentions Stephie's mom calling about a sitting job. But she doesn't HAVE a mom.

I might like New York, New York a sliver better than Snowbound at this current moment!

Dawn thinking a candy wrapper on the street was a cockroach was a priceless moment...

NY, NY is hilarious in a snarky sense, haha. I love how scared and panicky Dawn is.

NY, NY was pretty funny. For some reason I really enjoyed the Mallory and Claudia plot.
