I would've liked it if Michael from European Vacation appeared again or was mentioned in another book. I liked the relationship between him and Kristy.

Kristy and Michel from European vacation I love how they kept writing to each other. And I love how Karen mentioned that they were writing in the LS book 102 I think...

^ Seriously? It's interesting that Kristy/Michel was one of the only SS relationships that lasted past the book it happened in. I found them to be one of the least convincing pairs.

I guess I have to like Michel because I also live in Toronto. Ok... so I do like him a bit ... Who knows, maybe I've seen him around

^ Other than the letters at the end of the book, I don't think so. Wait...in a later book, the girls were sitting around talking about all the boys they'd "fallen in love with" on vacation. Timothy may have been mentioned then....

It's book 101, Karen's Chain Letter, where she mentions how Kristy and Michel write to each other.

I used to the think all the relationships the girls had while on vacation was really weird and unlikely - but then last night I remembered going on a weekend bible camp trip or something and holding hands with one of the guys there and then exchanging addresses, and writing - plus he fixed my hoodie I had brought We were just a little older than the girls - in 9th grade instead. But I think he was in 8th. In terms of the girls relationships - I think my favorite was Claudia and Will. I thought they were too sweet!

^My favorite was also Claudia and Will, Sarish. They were very sweet and shared a special connection with their grandparents. I would have loved it we had gotten to read (first-hand) about their keeping in touch. I know (a positive grandparent relationship) is also a big part of why I will always wish the same between Kristy and Mr. Staples in terms of a friendship.

didn't they both have gaps in their teeth? Dawn thinks that's hot though ;D That and rattails. And surfer dudes...come to think of it I'd be interested in seeing who Dawn would end up with as an adult. Probably a west coast guy.

Jessi/Quint will always be my favourite SS romance. I was kind of sad that they broke up in a later book. However, I like that Jessi is consciously deciding she's not ready for a boyfriend for the moment. There's always hope that they'll get back together when she feels that she has time for one.
Abby and Mallory, I think, are the only ones who never had an SS boyfriend. The most we got was a cute guy watching Mallory in California. That was it, and that's mostly because she was already into Ben Hobart by then. Abby...well, she wasn't in that many, so she gets a pass - also, she makes it sound like she's not interested in being in a relationship yet, so maybe that's it. It was nice that Kristy, the other sports enthusiast, actually had an SS relationship, especially after her sort-of relationship with Bart Taylor failed.

I really liked Michel and Kristy, I thought they were cute together and it was actually brought back up again in a little sister book.
