Hey Guys, I'm moving provinces soon (hooray!) so I'm culling my BSC collection. I've decided to keep doubles where the covers are different, and I was wondering if any of you know exactly when they stopped publishing the original covers, and started putting books out with only the new covers? Like I'm pretty sure The Fire At Mary Anne's House doesn't exist in the original cover form...but I don't know when the cut off is. I tried a quick Google search but figured maybe someone on here might answer faster I'm going to post my doubles soon in Books Books Books to see if anyone wants to do some trades, too. Thanks and Happy Monday Everyone!

I'm fairly certain it was 89... Don't ask me why but I've always known that. If you google images, you can't find 89 in the old covers, but you can find 88 in the old and new!

It was around the mid 80s I believe. I have a copy of 88 in it's original cover but never saw one for 89 before.

I also wanted to say I oops, I lied - I'm not posting my doubles for trade. Instead I gathered them in a box and took them to my next door neighbour, who has 6 kids, including 3 girls between the ages of 7 - 12. They were SO EXCITED. The oldest one started going through them and said "Ahhh! Thank you! I LOVE READING! Did you know this same author has graphic novels?" (She also picked up the one VHS that was in the mix, Stacey's Big Break, and said "What's this?" lol) It makes me feel so good to know they are all holed up reading BSC and Sweet Valley books now

My nieces have no idea what a VCR or VHS is either.
