I didn't know you were from Kentucky, nancydawes! When you say you're from the Midwest I think of my area. I’m fairly close to Ohio, so I always say the Midwest, it’s pretty different between living north in the state then south from what I’ve heard.

^ I performed a quick Google search and while Kentucky is considered a Southern state, it seems to be a mixture of Midwestern and Southern. The Northern part that is by Ohio, Iowa and Illinois has more industrial cities and is considered Midwestern while the Southern and Western parts of the state are more Southern in nature.
Edit: Nanacydawes, you managed to post before I was able to respond to CNJ with my post. As I was making my post, I figured you were from the Northern part because you referred to your state as Midwestern and the only reason you would do that is if you grew up there.

At first I was confused lol. Is the Southern part more Bible Belt? No biggie, you identify how you want. I’ve only ever been once! It didn’t seem that different but I wasn’t there for very long.

^ Yeah, me too. I didn't expect there to be someone else's post (between mine and CNJ) when I was responding to CNJ.

^ Yeah, me too. I didn't expect there to be someone else's post (between mine and CNJ) when I was responding to CNJ. It’s cool. Also I noticed the poll and saw that only two people voted and both were for Cokie. I wonder if they had any fun together while they dated in book 46.

^Cokie sounded kinda sad and insecure, and Logan seemed a little embarrassed to be with her. I’m sure they had a blast together.

Kentucky is actually a pretty big state, so it's not surprising that regions and probably dialects in the state differ. I think Logan was from the southern part of the state. Is the Southern part more Bible belt? No biggie, you identify how you want. Yes, it is...that may be why the Brunos seemed authoritarian and so conservative compared to most of the other Stoneybrook families.

Me too! 😅😅😅😅 Cokie didn't seem sad to me, though, but did seem insecure. I can see her and/or Grace flunking out of uni and returning to Stoneybrook to live several times.

Louisville is closer to Indianapolis and Cincinnati then Nashville. True...but still on the southern end...anyway, the books mention that Logan has a trace of a southern, not midwestern accent. There are several dialects of both midwestern English and southern English. To me, the Brunos seem more conservative and more southern than most of the northern BSC is used to.

Book Logan is kind of annoying, so I’d pair him with Cokie. Netflix Logan is better. (But I’m assuming this thread is for the books)
