it seems pretty cruel that the kormans would get a cat if one of their kids screams hysterically whenever they see a "tat"!

^ Agree. Did she ever get over that? I don't remember that she did because she was still afraid in Dirty Diapers and that was a later book.

^ Not that I remember. Maybe he's hiding when the BSC sits (or just hiding from Skylar ;D)

I just found this book today at the library sale! I am one step closer to a LS collection of books I never read when I was little So Is it worth reading right away, or can I leave it for a rainy day?

^ I think it's pretty cute but can't really remember much about it. It's kind of a "happy" book (if that makes sense) for me because it doesn't have any major issues, conflict (that I can remember at least ;D)

I just reread this one and really liked it. I can relate to Karen being totally bored (even though I'm usually busy and bored at the same time - if that's possible) ;D I loved the thing about Watson and the oven mitts and wish there had been a picture. ;D Also thought the birth announcements were cute because I remember doing that for a litter of our barn cats when I was Karen's age. This was just such a "nice" book that it put me in a good mood (even though it was sad that Natalie couldn't keep the kitten. )

This is one of my favorite Karen books...it's just so cute. Don't Claudia and Shannon come to see the kittens that first time, when Karen loses a kitten temporarily?

^ They do come to see them and Karen looses "Rosie". I always liked that part. ;D

^ I had forgotten that part. ;D I guess Bobby or someone could have put her in there, though, so maybe it's not that far fetched. ;D

I loved Ruby and wanted her for myself, though Pokey sounded cute too when Karen was dressing him up for Nancy

Ruby sounded adorable I agree about the Kormans and Skylar's fear of cat's... That's what I was thinking when I read it.
