Which house in the series is your favorite?
Obviously a mansion sounds amazing... but I would never really want to take care of one! I think my favorites are Jack Schafer’s modern house (the kind of house I would be most likely to buy/live in) and the Schafer/Spier house they create from renovating the barn after the fire. It sounds really beautiful and open.

Jack's house is definitely up there for me too. When I was little I read that they had skylights, and I thought that meant they didn't have a roof.
I always liked the descriptions of Abby's house too - a well-stocked kitchen with tons of baking equipment, classical music playing in the background, and enough space to stay out of each other's way.

Abby’s house felt a little lonely to me, I think. The Stevensons had an interesting and complex family dynamic. I don’t think I’d want to live in the “rich” neighborhood.

I like Watson’s mansion best, though I think I can’t fully imagine how big it actually is for each family member to have their own bedroom!
I’m also interested in Morbidda Destiny’s house - do we ever get to see inside the house in either the main or LS series?

Druscilla has medium-sized role in LS, so there may be more about the house there.

This might be a little off-topic, but I didn't really look at the house descriptions, but I always got a picture in my head of what the houses looked like. In that respect, I agree about Jack's house - it always appeared in my mind as a bright, airy place with lots of natural light. Although maybe that's just because that's what Los Angeles looked like whenever I went there on holiday. The hotel in Santa Monica mostly had bright rooms, not to mention free sodas, free breakfasts, free movies to rent, a hot tub and all the time you wanted on their computer for free (and assuming no one else was using it).

I imagine Jack’s house as being very spacey, and airy too.
I really like the sound of Abby’s house. I seriously wish that there was more Abby books so we could have seen more of the Stevenson family. The reason for me is because they didn’t seem very close, like the other BSC families, which interested me a lot. They also could’ve delved more into Abby’s extended family, which sounded like they had a lot of drama!

Dawn’s house in California was always my favorite. I know it’s explicitly stated that it’s not but I always pictured it as being by the beach

I like Mansions. Cause they’ve secret rooms, passage or tunnels. I always want to live in mansion.

Dawn's farmhouse with the secret passage and Watson's mansion are tied as being my favorite houses in the BSC series.

Dawn's farmhouse with the passageway would freak me out a little especially at night. I wish we got more house descriptions though. Personally I like the idea of Mary Anne and Richard's before the remarriage. I'd imagine it to be big enough and still feel cozy.
