I suspect that is not Logan...at least I hope not. Canon Logan is blond, blue-eyed and fair-complexioned. The boy on the cover is Logan. That’s the only logical answer... That then would make no sense and be off-canon. Logan was one of the few blond, gentile characters in Stoneybrook.

I just reread the original book and the Graphic novel back to back and got to say I like graphic novel more! Original book is one I never owned until recently, I borrowed from library but hadn't read it lots of times like other books. Logan and Mary Anne relationship, growing up I was mostly indifferent to or disliked it depending on the book, I actually liked her dumping him in Mary Anne vs Logan!
That said graphic novel Mary Anne and Logan were super cute and of course there is something of the visual nature, but Gale Galligan also added some more to the conversations, like her actually making jokes at their sitting job together and her talking about why she likes cats at party and book Logan was ready to break thing off because she ran off after birthday cake incident, but graphic Logan was much more understanding.
I like how the Graphix have evolved while still close to original, as they've gone on they have added some more details, or with Jessi and Mallory joining earlier working that in naturally with the storylines.
