I totally crack up every time I think of Hannie and Karen's "fistfight" in one of the books. Just the idea of a couple of seven-year-olds catfighting is hilarious to me. Haha....it'll be good practice for Karen, I guess. I think she totally grows up to be one of those girls that gets into catfights with other girls all the time.

I also liked Hannie's ability to be feisty and how she would stand up to Karen if needed.

I liked Mrs. Porter (Morbidda Destiny's) granddaughter Druscilla. Karen was downright mean to her though.
I always loved Natalie Springer. I have a weak spot for the misfit kids.

^ I don't think Karen meant to be mean to Dru but was actually kind of scared of her. Then I think she tried to be nice once she realized that Dru wasn't a witch. I just read Karen's Little Witch and liked Dru okay in it but (even though I could understand why she was upset about her parents' divorce and I did feel for her) for some reason, she kind of bugged me in Dirty Diapers. That's a regular BSC book, though, so don't know if it counts here. I always liked Natalie, too, until I read Karen's Kite. Then I looked at her behavior in some of the other books, too, and she seems almost a little bratty. But in some, I do like her. Anyway, as for my favorites, I loved Elizabeth in Karen's Worst Day when I read it yesterday. I don't care for her much in the regular series but really like her in the LS books.

I haven't read Karen's Little Witch. I just read Karen's Haunted House and Karen flips out on Dru because she is going to be Cinderella for Halloween and Karen is too. Karen tells Dru she has to change costumes because it was Karen's idea even though Dru had no way of knowing what Karen would be. I loved Kristy at this part because she pretty much told Karen to get over it.

^ I haven't read that one. I'll have to check it out, now. It is one I remember liking as I always love Halloween books.

I really liked Charlie in Karen's Monsters. It was so nice how he took Karen with him to "steal" Frankenstone back and then how he had all his siblings ride on the parade float. He was also sweet in Karen's Show and Share when he just laughed and said it was no big deal when she apologized for tricking him into signing Bobby Martinez's autograph. I always enjoy reading about his interactions with Karen in the LS books. Sometimes, Sam and Charlie actually seem nicer than Kristy to Karen in the LS books, but that's probably just my perception.

I am a Hannie fan too (despite her sometimes bratty attitude aka Karen's Haircut). She was so cute with her little pigtails and freckles. One of my favorite Hannie pictures is the cover of Karen's School Bus. She's wearing this cute little girl dress with an apple on it (I think, don't hold me to it) and she's all smiles and it's just adorable. She and Nancy look best on the covers! I also had a soft spot for Natalie Springer. I couldn't understand why nobody liked her, I mean who cares if her socks were droopy or that she snorted when she cried? I thought she was cool. I liked that The Three Musketeers were so nice to her; every time there was a field trip one of them was always Natalie's partner and then the four of them would hang out together all day .

Nancy and Hannie DO always look super cute. They are much more adorable than Karen. I will never understand why they made Karen look like such a little geek.

I agree with you aln about how Charlie's interaction with Karen. I loved his interaction with her in "Karen's monsters" as well.
One thing I was thinking about today, was how Hannie was really mean to Karen in "Karen's haircut", however I can remember a few incidents were Nancy was mean to Karen. One example was in Karen's sleepover".Nancy didn't get her invitation in the mail yet and everyone else had. She just assumed Karen didn't invite her. She then proceeded to get Karen in trouble at school. To be fair Karen was mean back to her after that, but I still felt that was a little bratty for Nancy to do.

They are much more adorable than Karen. I will never understand why they made Karen look like such a little geek. I'll never understand that either. After awhile, the ponytail and the cheesy grin she had really got on my nerves. I think she looked worse on the covers before she got her glasses though. The pictures of her on the first few book covers looked absolutely terrible to me.

karen's taste in fashion didn't help her cause either--remember her love for her unicorn sweatshirt?

I thought the unicorn sweatshirt was cute and I remember wanting to get something like that but I could never find one lol. The outfit I didn't really care for was that blue sweater that had the yellow taxicab on it because it was mentioned more than once.
