There’s short stories that came out with the dolls. If you scroll down this article mentions the mini books that came with the 1993 Kenner dolls (and links to them) babysittersclub.fandom.com/wiki/BSC_DollsAnn wrote a short story about Karen for the anthology book Its Great to be Eight. Is have to try googling for a pdf or something. Hopefully that helps!

Great. Thanks Nancy. You wouldn’t happen to know where these short stories would slot in in the whole series correct reading order?

Hmm not at the top of my head.
I know that the Karen short story is pretty late in the series. It's about Karen about to turn 8 (finally lol) in a few weeks. She mentions that Charlie went to prom in the story.I think I've seen it theorized that Karen's birthday is in spring so it's probably set shortly before Graduation Day. The book was published in 2000 too. So if I had to put it somewhere definitely after the little sister series but before the final book. Probably somewhere in between the FF books.
The mini books can be anywhere. They were published in 93 and written by Peter Lerangis. In publication order it would be around the mid sixties (Mary-Anne's hair is short). All of the mini series books are together to form a larger story so you'd read all of them together. The collectors mini book was published in February of 93. So probably somewhere between:
BSC 61 - Jessi and the Awful Secret (February 1993) Mystery 7 - Dawn and the Disappearing Dogs (February 1993) Little Sister 35 - Karen's Doll Hospital (February 1993)
As for continuity order well I might throw that out the window here. The Mallory short story is about the Arnold Twins getting a gerbil that's never brought up in the regular books.
Hopefully that helps!
