^I forgot about Karen's over the rainbow outfit:D For some reason I am picturing the cover of Baby Parade, exploded orange shoe. I think Claud wear yellow, red, blue, primary colors on one cover or maybe I am thinking of MA, I don't always pay much cover attention. That's a great point about Mallory on Strike schedule. I'll just hit like on everything you said about Mrs. Hamilton. I will reread MA's book for her own strict Nanny. I edited this because lol I had spelled Nanny (as in MA's) NannIE. Maybe if Nannie had been around when MA and Kristy were younger she could have stepped in.

I was surprised that they found a nanny willing to work every other month. I get that the nanny had another job but most people can't be as flexible as Lisa needed. Most people would need to work every month. I was surprised Lisa didn't work something out with Watson or the BSC or even find an after school program but I guess they needed a nanny for a plot device

I kind of had PTSD reading about Karen being such a horrible partner to Addie during their partner project. I hated partner/group projects so much. I got a laugh at the beginning when Karen was like "Oh, I know all sorts of things about Jupiter! Let me make a list." She then came up with one fact, lol.
There was an abnormal amount of peanut butter talk going on. Karen preferred crunchy but had to settle for smooth one day. It shook her world. She didn't want to bounce back and forth between the two, so she just decided to eat smooth forever. (I'm team smooth peanut butter btw.)
I thought Lisa's resolution was odd. She wanted to exercise her mind, so she resolved to read one William Shakespeare play each month. I would do a Sudoku and call it a day.
The Lemon Drops sounded like a Kidz Bop version of the Spice Girls. Their songs included: "It's a Grrl's Wrrld" "Sister Strength" "2gether 4ever" and "Jump Up and Dance" I read this book right after reading about Hannie and her love of Justin Bieber type solo boys. Both made me laugh.
Lisa said she had three nanny candidates at the beginning. But then she had Karen look for a nanny after they rejected the first two. Um, you still have one left to talk to. I guess Karen really didn't like the spontaneous first one that Andrew liked or they could have re-interviewed her also.

I am also Team Smooth Peanut Butter!
Funny, just last night I was thinking that I should read more Shakespeare plays because I've only read six of them, I think. Well, whole six plays plus Act I of A Midsummer Night's Dream, although I was supposed to read the whole thing. Apparently this is the kind of thing I think about when I'm trying to fall asleep at night.

What's the difference between a nanny and a baby sitter?? Is a nanny just a fancy word for a baby sitter?

A nanny usually only has one family as clients. They can live with the family or work for them full-time.

Come to think of it, the girls could all get nanny jobs as they got older due to their sitting experience and earn good money pre/post college. I could see Stacey wanting to nanny for a rich family and accompany them on European vacations.
