You can click on the little cog button to the right of the thumbs up button on each spam post and report it. I've been trying to do that when I see a different user name posting. Kylie can then ban that user. I'm not sure if that automatically deletes their posts along with them, or if she has to delete each post herself. But, if you see something go ahead and report it so she doesn't have to search for it!

Why so much spam ? This forums needs more moderators . I am a member of quite a few forums and they don't get nearly as much spam as this place does . They have spam measures in place and in one forum they have passwords for a couple of popular threads that only members can access to help stop spam. Also guest members should be disabled .

There's been a lot of Vietnamese spam lately. I've reported everything I see, but if there's some way of preventing new accounts from spamming that would be nice. I also don't want to make it harder for genuine newcomers to start interacting though, so maybe the mods can chime in.
I hope this is the right spot for this. It's the most recent thread I could find on the subject but there hasn't been much discussion here.

booboo, I am curious what level of admin-ship you have. If you could ban users or delete posts (or someone else more active than Kylie had that permission), that would go a long way! I definitely think of you as second in command here but I actually don't know how it works.

Haha sadly the original creator of the boards only bestowed that power on me, and it’s not even enough power for me to give it to anyone else! You'd think bots would spam faster, but it's literally one post a day each, lol. It makes me wonder if they set it up to post slowly to get around a spam filter.
